Amber has been a prosperous world for as long as history records.
Random became King of Amber after the Patternfall war, and guided Amber's armies successfully through the Balance war that followed. The birth of the world Tagon, and it's power source, the Kajiah, brought and end to the war.
Serma brought about the Balance Treaty, which Random and the armies of Amber were placed in charge of protecting.
All was well, until Jeremy, the king of Serma, was assassinated by his youngest son Merandez. During the coup, Merandez put the Tris in Serma to sleep. Random pulled representatives from Chaos and Tagon into an emergency meeting, where it was determined that the balance had not been compromised. The three worlds formed a new treaty to watch over Serma and her new king and only interfere if it looked like he was attempting to expand his powers beyond Serma.
Years passed, and the spy network in Serma flourished until reports were suddenly cut off. Ambassadors from Tagon and Chaos realized too late that the balance had been shifted, and called on their treaty with Amber to send a diplomatic force to Serma to investigate.
Random called on Tone, his son, to go meet with the deligation in Tagon and then move to Serma and discover what had occured there.
Tone met with the ambassadors from Tagon and Chaos and then attempted to travel to Serma to discover what had occured there. The diplomatic force was waylayed somewhere between worlds where they met a small group of the Serman bloodline.
The delegation from Serma had overthrown Merandez and had also awoken the Tris, which was attempting to reinstate it's control over the nearby worlds and establish the balance that had been offset during Merandez's reign.
The four powers charged the group with restoring the balance by returning worlds that had been reformed during the Tris's absence.
They removed a magical item from an evil person only known as The Conquorer during a battle on a small world that was home to two of the Serman delegates. With assistance from the powers, they restored the Queen of the Tiaga to her proper place in the Pit of Chaos. They enticed the rest of the Tiaga to follow their queen back to the Pit, destroying a world in the process. Then, as a final step, they restored life to the destroyed world and placed it back to what it was before the Tiaga had swept their war across it.
