Episode 2:
It was a few days after the school was closed down for renovations. They were going to school at Lunkick�s grand church. It had more rooms then the high school they were in. As classes took place there, the royal family was coming to town.
All six Princes� and the princess came to town in a limo. Class was out for the day and the girls were walking outside.
It started pouring down raining, but the girls had their umbrella�s and raincoats ready.
The palace that was far north of Lunkick was far.
The limo pulled in the shaded area and the royal family hurried inside.

�What odd weather!� Queen Amia said.

�When are my other sisters coming, mother.� Princess Nera asked the Queen.

�As soon as finishing school is finished. I�m sure having six brothers and 5 little sisters are fun.� Queen Amia said.

�Six is a lucky number in this royal family.� Princess Nera said.

�Yes, each brother and sister always had 6 children to pass on the throne.� Prince Trevor said.

�By the way, my sons. That brings me to hold a ball. So you choose who to marry in this town. We have a deadline. If you do not find one here. We will keep searching.� King Zuoff said.

�Why do we have too?� Prince Zeal said.

�It is your duty to do so, Prince Zeal.� King Zuloff said.

�I thought Prince Trent and Prince Wakan are the only ones who have too.� Prince Chare said.

�Oh sure, Prince Chare. Blame us for what the family tradition is.� Prince Trent said.

�Humphf!� Prince Rube said going up the right stairs.

�I hate being surrounded by boys.� Princess Nera said.

�We have got to work on your manners, Princess Nera.�Queen Amia said.

�Oh, whatever mother. I want to be a normal girl.� Princess Nera said walking off.

The rain stopped for now and Sawa was going to take Merisa and her friends on a weekend shopping spree and a few of Sawa�s newfound friends.

The mall was not too far from the palace. When the girls walked by, Princess Nera was on the balcony. She sighed in relief.

�I want to hang out with them.� Princess Nera said.

Down below, Merisa stopped and looked at the palace. She saw the princess looking at her. The other girls stopped and looked at Merisa then the princess.

�I thought someone was watching me.� Merisa said.

�Oh, that must be the princess of Zeal.� Selene said.

�I feel sorry for her.� Kit said.

�Why is that?� Jenna asked.

�Could you imagine being cooped up in that palace, bored to death and always having to act primp and proper.� Sawa said.

�Good point.� Jenna said.

�Hm....this idea I have may or may not work.� Selene said pondering.

�What idea?� Kit said.

�Taking the princess out?� Merisa said.

�Yeah.� Selene said.

�Yeah right. We�d be responsible if she went missing.� Sawa said.

The princess hurried up and ran down and outside. She fell as soon as she got to Merisa. Luckily Merisa caught her.

�Oh Thank you soo much.� Princess Nera said.

�What are you doing out here your highness?� Sawa said.

�I-I-I wanted to spend the day with you.� Princess Nera said.

�I�m sorry princess, but we can�t risk that. Do you know how much trouble we would be in if we took you with us.� Selene said.

�No.� Princess Nera said.

�Enough to be sent to prison.�Merisa said.

�Aw. Its so boring with out any girls to talk to in the palace.� Princess Nera sighed.

�How many brothers do you have?� Rashira said.

�Well in our family tree each family has 6 brothers and sisters.� Princess Nera.

�So you have 3 brothers and 3 sisters?� Jenna asked.

�No, I meant each family has 6 of each gender. I�m the oldest out of mine.� Princess Nera said.

�So you have a BIG Family?� Merisa said.

�Yes.� Princess Nera smiled.

Some of the palace guards ran out. The princess being in the driveway wasn�t even supposed to be outside.

�Princess Nera. There you are.� Guard # 1 said.

Princess Nera turned around.

�Yes?� Princess Nera said.

�The Queen was worried that you ran off.� Guard # 2 said

�My mother worries if the sky is going to fall.� Princess Nera explained.

Merisa and her friends had already left. The Princess turned around and saw no one.

�Sorry, princess but you must come inside now.� Guard #1 said.

�Where did they go?� Princess Nera said.

�They left as you turned around.� Guard #2 said.

�Ooo! I hate being royalty!� Princess Nera said running off.

�That�s our princess.� The guards said.

Meanwhile, Shin was at home in a gloomy mood. Kashi sat across from him while Shin watched television.

�Why are you so depressed?� Kashi asked.

�....� Shin stared at the television.

�Fine. I bet I know why. Its because Merisa didn�t want you to kiss her.� Kashi said.

Shin growled.

�I didn�t want to kiss her. That stupid guy Xavier said so.� Shin said.

�Well why did you ask her to close her eyes?� Kashi said.

�Because of a dream I had. I wanted to see what happened.� Shin said.

�Dream?� Kashi said.

�Yes. When we put our heads together our mother came back to life.� Shin said.

�Why didn�t you tell her that?� Kashi said.

�Because Xavier was there. No one would have believed me anyway.� Shin said

Sawa walked in the room with Merisa, Jenna and Selene.

�What wouldn�t we believed?� Sawa said.

Shin saw Sawa and her friends and left the front room to his room.

�About his dream Sawa.� Kashi said eating popcorn.

�Dream?� Merisa said.

�What about it?� Sawa said.

�He said our mother would have came back if it was true.� Kashi said.

�I think Shin is delusional.� Merisa said.
�No. He misses mom. It�s hard for our dad working at the office 18 hours 5 days a week.� Kashi said.

�I think its more then that.� Jenna said.

�What do you mean?� Merisa said.

�Shin doesn�t act like this ever.� Sawa said.

�I don�t know, but maybe. He�s in love with you.� Selene said.

�Love?� Merisa said.

�Yes!� Everyone but Merisa said.

�Eh. Well I�m sorry, but I�m not interested.� Merisa said.

�Please, Merisa. Go cheer him up.� Sawa said holding both of Merisa�s hands.

�Me?� Merisa said.

�Yes. I�m afraid for my brother. I don�t want him to do anything crazy.� Sawa said.

Kashi got up and walked over by Selene.

�Can I talk to you alone, Selene?� Kashi said.

�Um....Why?� Selene said.

Kashi grabbed Selene�s right arm and they went out on the patio, behind the glass door.

�What�s his problem?� Jenna said.

Sawa took Merisa upstairs to Kashi and Shin�s room. Shin lay on his bed reading. Sawa pushed Merisa in and shut the door.

�Um...hi.� Merisa said.

Shin didn�t say a word. Merisa walked over in front of him.

�What?� Shin said.

�Are you mad at me?� Merisa said.

Shin sat up and turned towards Merisa.

�Sort of.� Shin said looking down.

�I�m sorry.� Merisa said.
�I�m not sure if I even deserve that.� Shin said.

�What do you mean?� Merisa said.

�I...have a lot on my mind.� Shin said.

�Like what?� Merisa said.

�Aya asked me out.� Shin said.

�Her?� Merisa said.

�Yes. It happened like this earlier today.� Shin said.

Flashback: Earlier at the Grand church:

�Please, go out with me Shin.� Aya said to Shin.

�Me?� Shin said.

�Yes, pretty please with cottage cheese.� Aya said holding both of his hands.

�Um...� Shin said hesitating.

�Come on. I really like you.� Aya said.

�That may be but I like someone else.� Shin said.

�Not that Merisa girl.� Aya said.

�I�m sorry Aya. I have to think about it if I�m to change my mind.� Shin said.

�I hope you do. I�ll even strike a deal with you.� Aya said.

�Like what?� Shin said.

�I won�t bully Merisa or anyone else anymore.� Aya said.

�I can�t guarantee anything, Aya.� Shin said leaving.

�Oh. I will have you as my boyfriend, Shin. Just wait and see.� Aya thought.

End of flashback:

�I see.� Merisa said headed towards the door.

�Where are you going?� Shin said.

�I-I have something to do.� Merisa said.

Shin got up and stood in front of her.

�Merisa?� Shin said.

Merisa looked down.

�Are you opposing me not to date Aya?� Shin said.

�Do what you want.� Merisa said opening the door and running out.

�What�s her problem?� Shin said.

Meanwhile, out on the patio with Kashi and Selene.

�You didn�t have to kiss me.� Selene said.

�No. I�m sorry. Instant reaction.� Kashi said.

Selene saw Merisa run down stairs and out the door. Kashi looked and saw her too. Shin came downstairs and he looked out the door.
Outside Merisa ran and ran down the street. She passed Kit on the way. Kit wondered what was up and then she saw a figure over Merisa. Merisa looked up and screamed as a man flew down and grabbed her.

Selene, Sawa, Shin and Kashi caught up with Merisa and Merisa was knocked out.
The guy happened to be Tamahome, yet again.

�Hey! Put her down!� Kit said running towards Tamahome.

�Heh, heh.� Tamahome laughed.

�Oh, no!� Selene gasped.

�Tamahome again!� Sawa said.

�Now that I have one of the problem brats. I can get on with my mission.� Tamahome laughed.

Kit lunged at Tamahome, but Tamahome blasted her in ice.
�Kit!� Sawa shouted.

�Who�s next?� Tamahome said.

�Merisa.� Shin shouted.

�Shin?� Kashi said looking at his brother.

A red aura surrounded Shin and Selene went over to Kit. Shin ran and grabbed Merisa. Tamahome flew back.

�Ow! That was hot!� Tamahome cried.

�Not hot enough.� Shin said with Merisa in his arms.

Selene pressed her hands against the ice.

�Huh?� Selene said as the ice started melting.

Sawa ran and started hitting Tamahome.

�Ah! Stop!� Tamahome cried.

�Feel my fists of furry, creep!� Sawa laughed.

Tamahome cried and retreated. The afternoon turned to evening to night and Merisa was still out. All including Kit walked back to the �Kochiwa� house. They called the ambulance to take her to the hospital. In the hospital Merisa still didn�t respond.

The doctor said she was in a deep sleep. Selene contacted her mother and sister. Merisa was experiencing something else in her sleep.

Meanwhile, Aya heard on the news of what happened. The only reason she went was because of Shin. So she went to the hospital. Shin waited outside with Merisa�s friends when Aya came up.

�Um...Shin. I need to talk to you...ALONE.� Aya said.

�Who do you think you are?� Kit said.

�Why are you here?� Selene said.

�One guess, Shin. She�s been eyeballing him since he first came here.� Jenna said.

�You can just lay off Jenna. I came here for personal business only. So C your way out of my business.� Aya said.

Shin walked with Aya down the hall in the and outside. Merisa�s hospital room opened and she stood there looking at her friends blankly. Jenna saw and went to hug her.

�Who are you?� Merisa said.

�Who are we?� Jenna said.

All of the sudden Merisa collapsed. Jenna caught her. Merisa�s male doctor was walking down the hall and saw her collapse. He went up and carried her to her bed again. Her doctor was Dr. Jemings.

�It is best she doesn�t get out of bed for a while. Whatever happened to her sure did her in. As of right now she has amnesia. How long it will last is unknown.� Dr. Jemings said.

�Poor Merisa.� Selene said.

�Also be warned if she wakes up, not to upset her. She is stable but any shock could send her in a deep coma or be the death of her.� Dr. Jemings said leaving the room.

After a few minutes of resting, Merisa awoke again.

Selene, Jenna and Kit were there. Sawa came in and hugged Merisa.

�Are you ok?� Sawa said.

�I�m fine Sawa.� Merisa said.

�Huh?� Selene said.

�I thought she had amnesia?� Jenna said.

�What are you talking about?� Merisa said.

�You were knocked out for a while. We really don�t know what happened.� Sawa said.

�Oh. That�s kinda silly. I thought that gem you gave me, gave me some sort of power.� Merisa said.

�It did.� Sawa said.

�What???� Everyone but Sawa said.

�Its true. The gem did something to you that affected your mind. I can only do that if your upset. It will take any advantage to take you back in time.� Sawa said.

�What do you mean �Take you back in time�?� Merisa said.
�I�ll tell you when you get out of the hospital. Right now you need to recover.� Sawa said.

�I�m well enough now. It probably was just a conk on the head. Really, I�m fine.� Merisa said.

�We�ll wait a bit to tell you.� Sawa said.

�Oh, Come on Sawa.� Merisa said.

Merisa continued asking then Sawa left. She still didn�t tell her what happened. Meanwhile, down the hall around the left corner in a dark place.

�Why won�t you say yes?� Aya cried.

�I just met you. I�m not going out with anyone as of yet.� Shin said.

�You liar! You love Merisa!� Aya said.

�I love her? I like her as a friend. I may act like I love her but I consider her one of my best friends.� Shin said.

�Best friends?� Aya said.

�Yes, she is the only one that could break my sister�s attitude. That�s why my sister likes her now.� Shin said.

�Ok, this isn�t about them. Its about us Shin.� Aya said.

�There is no us. I told you before. I�m sorry Aya, but I rather not talk about it.� Shin said walking away.

Aya started crying.

�This is war, Merisa. Ultimate war.� Aya thought.

Shin went to Merisa�s hospital room.

Selene, Kit and Jenna had left already.

�How are you feeling?� Shin said sitting beside her.

Merisa looked at Shin. Then she started having flashbacks.

�Oh, my head.� Merisa said grabbing her head.

�Do you need asprin?� Shin said.

�No!� Merisa cried.

�Are you ok?� Shin said.

�Go away, Shin.� Merisa said.

�What did I do?� Shin said.

�Just go.� Merisa said laying back on the bed.

�No, its my fault your here anyway.� Shin said.

�I don�t need a body guard.� Merisa said.

�Why? Are you mad at me?� Shin asked.

�I�m not mad...I�m...furious.�Merisa said.

�Oh.� Shin said.

Shin pulled the chair up to Merisa�s bed.

�I guess that doesn�t make up for me rushing you to the hospital.� Shin said.

Merisa looked at Shin.

�You brought me here?� Merisa said.

�Yes. I didn�t want to loose a good friend.� Shin said.

�Oh. I must have been stupid.� Merisa said.

�No. Your not.� Shin said.

Merisa sat up and moved her legs over to Shin. She tried getting up.

�No. It�s my fault I ran out. I really don�t like to admit my feelings to anyone.� Merisa said.

�I�ll be glad to help you.� Shin said.

�You already did.� Merisa said as she struggled getting up.

Shin stood up and held her.

�I don�t know what happened after I passed out?� Merisa said.

�Tamahome appeared again.� Shin said.

�Him?� Merisa said.

�Don�t ask me why he stinks at his plans.� Shin said.

�What did he plan to do?� Merisa said.

� He wanted to take you away.� Shin said.

�Why me?� Merisa said.

�I don�t know for sure.� Shin said.

�He didn�t succeed.� Merisa said.

�No.� Shin said.

Merisa was looking directly at Shin.

�Shin?� Merisa said.

�Yeah.� Shin said.

Merisa kissed him. Shin was shocked, but then kissed her back. Aya walked into the room and saw them kissing.

�You liar!� Aya said.

�What?� Merisa said sitting back on her bed.

�You lied to me!� Aya shouted even louder.

She smacked Shin and looked at Merisa.

�When you come back to school it will be an all out war!� Aya said smacking her and leaving.
�What did you tell her?� Merisa said.

�I told her no.� Shin said.

�No about what?� Merisa said.

�That I wouldn�t go out with her.� Shin said.

�Oh.� Merisa said.

�I still consider you as a friend, even though we...kissed.� Shin said.

�That�s fine.� Merisa said.

Just then Xavier walked into Merisa�s room.

�What happened to you Merisa?� Xavier said.

�Too complicated.� Merisa said.

Shin glared at Xavier.

�What got a problem with me?� Xavier said.

�Yeah. Looking at you makes this room �the pits�.� Shin said.

Merisa looked at both guys.

�What is wrong with you two?� Merisa said.

�Don�t mind him.� Xavier said.

�Don�t mind me? Watch it Xavier.� Shin said.

�Ok. Stop it. I want to know what is up with you two.� Merisa said.

�Sorry, Merisa. Forget it, but I�m not leaving you alone in this room with him.� Shin said.

�Hah! You won�t be able to kiss her.� Xavier laughed.

�The joke is on you. I did get her to kiss me.� Shin said.

�Ha. Liar.� Xavier said.

�Um...no...he�s right.� Merisa said.

�You kissed him?� Xavier said.

�Yeah.� Merisa said.

�Oh...� Xavier said.

�I don�t lie.� Shin said.

�Get out Shin.� Xavier said.

�No.� Shin said.

�Just get out for a few minutes, Shin. Please?� Merisa said.

Shin got up and closed the door. He went to the bathroom instead and eavesdropped on the conversation.

�What did you want?� Merisa asked.

�Why did you kiss him?� Xavier said.

�I really don�t know. I know he brought me here.� Merisa said.

�I bet he was the one to cause you to end up here.� Xavier said.

�What do you mean?�Merisa said.

�Didn�t he upset you before?� Xavier said.

�Yeah.� Merisa said.

�How many times?� Xavier said.

�Oh...uh...3 I think.� Merisa said.

�My point exactly. He doesn�t care about you.� Xavier said.

�What do you mean?� Merisa said.

�I mean I want you Merisa.� Xavier said.

�Want me to do what?� Merisa said.
�I want you as my girlfriend.� Xavier said.

�Girlfriend?� Merisa said.

�Yes. I love you, Merisa.� Xavier said holding her hands.

�I�m not sure. I don�t even know you that well.� Merisa said.

�I want to get to know you better.� Xavier said.

�Ask me much later. I�m not in the mood for a boyfriend.� Merisa said.

�Later?� Xavier said.
Shin walked back in.

�Much later.� Shin said.

�Huh?� Xavier and Merisa said.

�I want to speak with Merisa alone, now!� Shin said.

�I�ll be back. Count on that bastard!� Xavier said leaving.

�What was that for?� Merisa said.

�I heard everything.� Shin said.

�You invaded my privacy?� Merisa said.

�Sorry.� Shin said.

�You are not sorry, because if you did you wouldn�t have done it in the first place. Why are you doing this to me?� Merisa said.

�I don�t know, Merisa. I�m confused.� Shin said.

�Well I can clear that up for you once more. I don�t want to see you again!� Merisa said.

�What?� Shin said.

�You heard me Shin. It�s hard enough with the mixed signals your giving me. Its better if you just leave.� Merisa said pointing to the door.

�Leave?� Shin said.
�Now!� Merisa said.

Shin left and Merisa started crying. Selene was on her way back to the hospital when she saw Xavier. She walked over to him.

�Hi Xavier.� Selene said.

�Do I know you?� Xavier said.

�I�m one of Merisa�s friends. She tried saving you in that ice block.� Selene said.

�Oh. She�s mad at me now.� Xavier said.

�Why?� Selene said.
�I asked her to be my girlfriend.� Xavier said.

�Oh. Is there more to this?� Selene said.

�Much more.� Xavier said.

They walked over and sat on a bench. The sun was setting.

�So what happened?� Selene asked.

�She said she kissed Shin and he kissed her back, but I don�t think he knows what he wants.� Xavier said.

�Oh. You want Merisa but Shin is overprotective of Merisa.� Selene said.

�Overprotective? He�s a dunce. He kisses Merisa back and says that he�d rather be her friend.� Xavier said

Selene�s cell phone rings.

� (on cell phone) Hello.� Selene said

� ( on the phone) Selene? This is Merisa.� Merisa said.

� (on cell phone) What�s up?� Selene said.

� ( on the phone) I�m getting out of the hospital tonight.� Merisa said

�(on cell phone) Oh. Good. Do you think you can come to Xavier�s house?� Selene said.

�(on phone) Why?� Merisa said.

�(on cell phone) Please, I�ll be there too.� Selene said.

�(on phone) Where does he live?� Merisa said.

� Where do you live?� Selene said to Xavier.

� Not to far from here. The mansion on the hill. 375 Rich lane.� Xavier said.

�(on cell phone) Did you get that Merisa?� Selene said.

�(on phone) Nope.� Merisa said.

�(on cell phone) 375 Rich lane.� Selene said.

�(on phone) That�s his place?� Merisa said.

�(on cell phone) Yeah.� Selene said.

�(on phone) Um...gee what time?� Merisa said.

�What time?� Selene asked Xavier.

�Maybe 30 minutes to an hour?� Xavier said.

�(on cell phone) In 1 hour.� Selene said.

�(on phone) Ok. Bye.� Merisa said hanging up.

�See. She listens to me.� Selene said shutting her phone and putting it in her purse.

�Hopefully, she�ll listen to me.� Xavier said.

�Well lets go.� Selene said walking with Xavier.

Later that night Merisa walked up to the front gates. The gates opened and Merisa walked up the hill. She pressed the doorbell.

�Yes.� The butler said opening the door.

�I�m here because Xavier told me to come here.� Merisa said.

�Oh, yes. Ms. Merisa.� The butler said letting her in.
�Wow! Nice mansion.� Merisa said.

�Follow me.� The butler said.

Merisa followed him in to the living room. Where she saw Selene sit across from Xavier in a love seat next to Xavier�s older brother, Valdmir.

�Oh. You made it.� Selene said going up to hug her.

�Who�s he?� Merisa said.

�Oh. This is Xavier�s older brother, Valdmir.� Selene said.

�Oh. How old is he?� Merisa said.

�Um...17.�Selene said.

�Oh.� Merisa said.

�He�s older then me by a year.� Valdmir said.

The butler left the room and Selene sat Merisa next to Xavier.

�Now what happened in the hospital, Merisa?� Selene said.

�What happened?� Merisa said.

�Tell her what you told me.� Xavier said.

�I don�t want a boyfriend.� Merisa said.

�You have something else on your mind. It�s Shin isn�t it?� Merisa said.

�So. I have a lot of things on my mind.� Merisa said.

�Come on. Be honest with yourself.� Selene said.

�I am.� Merisa said.

�Fine. I�ll let you and Xavier talk things out.� Selene said leaving the room with Valdmir.

Merisa stood up and so did Xavier.

�What�s wrong Merisa?� Xavier said.
�Did you think I�d change my mind?� Merisa said with her arms folded.

�I don�t want to rush you, but I�m here for you.� Xavier said.

�Yeah. Sure you are.� Merisa said.

�I�m serious. I still want you as my girl, but I can settle for you as a friend.� Xavier said.

�I doubt you do.� Merisa said.

The butler knocked on the living room door.

�Master French. Shin Kochiwa is here.� The butler said.

�See him out.� Xavier said.

�No, wait!� Merisa said coming out of the room.

Shin was waiting in the lobby and Merisa stopped.

�How did you know where he lived?� Merisa said.

�What are you doing here?� Shin said.

�I�m here with Selene.� Merisa said.

�I don�t believe that. I came here to take you home.� Shin said.

�I don�t believe you! You think I�m a little kid?� Merisa said.

Shin walked in front of her and Xavier stood by her.

�Do us a favor and leave before security comes and throws you out.� Xavier said.

�I�m not leaving.� Shin said grabbing Merisa�s arms.

The furthest he got was the stairs with Merisa.

�Stop where you are� The security guards said.

Xavier stepped out on the porch and Shin held Merisa.

�I�ve been thinking, Merisa.� Shin said.

Before Shin could finish security tossed him out and the gates closed. They went back inside and went on the balcony on the second floor. Selene seemed to be getting acquainted with Xavier�s brother. Merisa was in Xavier�s room.

�I�m sorry that happened.� Merisa said.

�I know you are. Your just confused.� Xavier said in his room.

Shin saw Merisa on the balcony and climbed the security gates.

�Great! Now I have to climb up.� Shin said.

Merisa saw Shin again.

�How did he climb gates?� Merisa said.

Xavier walked up on the balcony and looked down with Merisa.

�What is the deal.� Xavier said.

�He won�t give up.� Merisa said.

�I won�t give up. I want to talk to you now.� Shin said.

�Some other time! I�m tired of hearing your excuses.� Merisa said.

�I�m coming clean but I want to be alone with you.� Shin said.

Selene and Valdmir came in the room while Xavier called security. Selene went on the balcony with Merisa.

�Shin, make it easier and go home and rest. Merisa just got out of the hospital.� Selene said.

�I�m sorry Selene, but I love Merisa.� Shin said.

�I don�t believe you.� Selene said.

� I do.�Shin said.

Valdmir and Xavier pulled the girls off the balcony. Security came and took Shin away. Selene left with Valdmir and Xavier just closed the balcony doors.

�My god!� Merisa said.

�Do you want me to walk you home?� Xavier said.

�No. I�m fine.� Merisa said.

�Are you sure?� Xavier said kneeling in front of her.

�Yeah.� Merisa said.

�I hate to ask you this now, but would you reconsider being my girl friend?� Xavier said.

�Yes. I�ll be your girlfriend.� Merisa said.

�You said yes?� Xavier said.

�Yeah. I really don�t date much, but I figure since you helped me get rid of Shin for now.� Merisa said.

�This isn�t temporary is it?� Xavier said.

�No. Its really real.� Merisa said.

�Oh.� Xavier said hugging Merisa.
