It was a rainy day in the town of Lunkick, USA.
Merisa, Selene, Kit and Jenna were on their way to school about 2 1/2 blocks away.
Out at the house on the corner that wasn�t used for 4 years came three teenagers about their ages out from the fence.
One girl named Sawa and her brothers named Shin and Kashi came out from the yard. Sawa was running late. She happened to run into Merisa and they both fell back. Sawa�s papers fell everywhere.
�Oh! I�m sorry. Let me help you.� Merisa said picking up some papers.
�NO THANKS!� Sawa said snatching the papers away.
Kashi and Shin looked behind them and saw Sawa push Merisa in the street in a puddle.
�I can�t stand being here and I can�t stand any of you!� Sawa said putting her paper in her bag and running off.
�That was horrible!� Selene shouted.
Shin and Kashi walked up and helped Merisa up out of the puddle.
�I�m so sorry, my sister just hasn�t been outside of Japan.� Shin said.
�We�re sorry. Sawa just misses home.� Kashi said.
�Yeah, yeah. Who are you anyway?� Kit said.
�I�m Shin Kochiwa. That was Sawa Kochiwa and beside me is my brother Kashi.� Shin said.
�Oh.� Jenna giggled.
It started to rain and Merisa was already wet. They were going to be late so they ran to school.
As If Merisa wasn�t in trouble already a girl named Aya stood in front of her locker.
�I�ve been waiting Merisa!� Aya said with her arms crossed.
�What do you want, Aya?� Merisa said pushing her aside.
�Hey!� Aya said as she smacked Merisa.
�You know better then that! Now pay up!� Aya said with her hand out.
Shin saw that and ran up to them. Aya turned and saw Shin. She dropped her jaw.
�Wow! What�s your name, hunkmister.� Aya said.
Shin went around to Merisa.
�Are you ok?� Shin said.
�I�m fine.� Merisa said.
Down the hall Selene, Kit and Jenna saw Shin with Merisa and Aya really frustrated.
�You think Shin is perfect for her?� Selene said.
�Eh, he�s ok. He better not hurt her.� Kit said.
�So true, but Aya and Sawa may.� Jenna said.
�That reminds me...we never told them our names.� Selene giggled.
�Oh well. They will eventually.� Kit said.
Merisa got in her locker and changed into her other clothes. While she did that Aya�s mouth opened.
�How dare you go to that piece of crap.� Aya yelled.
Shin turned around.
�Where do you get off pushing and hitting others? What�s your name?� Shin said.
�I�m Aya and I�m your girlfriend now.� Aya said grabbing his arm.
�I don�t think so!� Shin said shoving her off him.
Aya fell on her butt and saw Shin leave.
�That did it! Merisa this is war!� Aya said getting up and going downstairs.
Merisa came out and Shin was there.
�Um...hi again.� Merisa said.
�I never got your name.� Shin said.
�I�m Merisa.� Merisa said with her hand out.
Shin knelt down and kissed her hand, then looked up.
�Pleased to meet you, Merisa.� Shin said getting back up.
�What was that for?� Merisa said.
�I�m just being friendly.� Shin said.
�Well stop. If word gets out, the whole school will think were going out.� Merisa said.
�Is that true?� Shin said.
�What do you do mean?� Merisa said.
�Well...I do like you.� Shin said.
Merisa�s eyes bulged out.
�No, no, no! I can�t see that.� Merisa said running away.
Shin smiled. Meanwhile, down the hall Jenna had went to art with Kit and Selene was going to her Excel program class. Selene went in and sat in the third row, second chair on the left. To Selene�s right was an empty desk as to the chair behind her. Kashi was the smartest out of the triplets and he got to sit beside her.
Class went on and the teacher handed out the homework for the class. Selene kept getting the feeling she was being watched. Then another boy named Brett came into class and sat behind Selene.
�Your late!� The female teacher said.
�Ah, so what else is new.� Brett said sitting back in his chair.
He saw Kashi right beside Selene.
�Who are you?� Brett said to Kashi.
�My name is Kashi.� He said finishing his homework.
�Well, new kid. The girl in front, Selene is not yours for the taking.� Brett said.
�Stop it, Brett.� Selene said.
�Stop it? You know you love me.� Brett said.
�Leave her alone.� Kashi said.
�What was that, new kid?� Brett said standing up.
�Brett do not make a scene.� Selene said.
�I�ll make one if I want to!� Bret said pushing Kashi out of his chair.
The female teacher named, Ms. Red. saw what Brett did.
�What was that for?� Kashi said getting up.
�Wanna fight!� Brett said punching Kashi into the wall.
The teacher called the police and the principal. Kashi had a big red mark on the side of his face.
�I choose not to for you may be severely hurt.� Kashi said.
Selene got up and helped Kashi.
�What is this!� Brett shouted.
The class watched as they argued. The police came in and had to hold Brett down to handcuff him.
�I�ll get you, new kid!� Brett shouted as the police took him out.
�Are you ok.� Selene said.
Kashi brought a hand up to Selene�s.
�Yes, thank you.� Kashi said as he kissed her lips.
Selene froze and turned bright red.
�What...� Selene said in shock.
�Oooo!� The class clamored.
Jenna and Kit had Sawa in their art class. Sawa sat alone. She made sure that she did. The teacher Mr. Lush went over to Sawa.
�I know your new, but they don�t bite.� Mr. Lush said.
�Buzz off!� Sawa shouted.
�What did you say?� Mr. Lush said.
�I said buzz off or I will do something everyone will regret.� Sawa said.
�You couldn�t possibly do anything that we wouldn�t find suitable to even come close to that, Sawa.� Jenna said.
�Its bad enough that you come to this country thinking you can get away with assault.� Kit said.
�Who did you assault?� Mr. Lush said.
�Yeah, wanna make something of it pretty boy!� Sawa growled.
�Yeah, detention!� Mr. Lush said pointing out the door.
�She assaulted who?� Aya asked Kit.
�Like I�d tell you!� Kit said.
�If your so smart you know who we were talking about.� Jenna said.
�Bite me!� Aya said turning around in her desk again.
One guy in their art class came and sat next to Jenna.
�So what�s this about the person she assaulted.� A guy name Steve said.
�Leave us alone, Steve Chang. I know you�re the school paper reporter. This is personal.� Jenna said.
�Not as personal as Merisa and the new kid Shin.� Steve said.
�What!� Kit said standing up on her chair.
�Um...well...Aya said that...� Steve whimpered.
�Aya, Oh wait till I get your goat!� Kit said looking at her.
�I knew that was a good idea when I spread the news that, that wench Merisa would get news of it soon.� Aya chuckled.
�Take that back!� Kit said standing in front of Aya.
�Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it tubby?� Aya said standing up in Kit�s face.
�Girls sit down or I�ll send you both with Sawa.�Mr. Lush said.
�No, Mr. Lush. I don�t dare back down on a low life tubby, tuff girl that plans on ruining my day.� Aya said.
�That�s it!� Kit shouted tossing aside her chair.
Aya looked Kit in the face and the next moment Kit knocked her across the room with one fist in the chest. Aya flew and cracked the wall. Kit grabbed her books and left.
Mr. Lush went and called the office to get an ambulance and the police. Aya wasn�t hurt badly, but her pride was. Still that didn�t stop her from her usual ways.
They had to strap Aya down to the stretcher. After that the bell rang and the students flocked to lunch. They didn�t have to worry much about the school�s food. They could eat either and they had fast food restaurant as well. None of the students left from school because of that.
Sawa sat alone while her brothers both Shin and Kashi were at different tables with their new friends.
Merisa did still feel sorry for Sawa and went to her table. Kit, Jenna and Selene watched.
�What is your problem with me?� Merisa asked.
�I don�t have to tell you anything.� Sawa snarled.
�I�m not being mean to you. I don�t think its right the way your treating me. I really rather be your friend then enemies. No new girl gets around this school being all by herself. You�ll be an outcast, is that what you want?� Merisa explained.
�Outcast?� Sawa said.
�Yes, meaning shortly you�ll end up being picked on or worse. This is why I�m telling you. Either your out or in.� Merisa said with her hand out.
Sawa looked at her hand for a moment.
�If I do decide to join I still can remain myself.� Sawa said.
�Well you would have to stop some of the things your doing now. Other then that I don�t mind.� Merisa said.
�Fine. Its a deal.� Sawa said shaking her hand.
Merisa hopped over the table and dragged Sawa to her friends table.
�What is she doing here?� Kit asked.
�She agreed to calm down a bit, being a new girl.� Merisa winked.
�Oh! I get it now.� Selene giggled.
�What�s so funny?� Sawa asked.
�Oh, nothing.� Selene said stopping.
�What are your names anyway?� Sawa asked.
�I�m Merisa Hanko.� Merisa said.
�I�m Kit and don�t forget it.� Kit said and Sawa raised an eyebrow.
�I�m Selene Marinabi. I live next to Merisa who lives next to you and so fourth.� Selene said.
�And I�m Jenna Witari. We all live on the same block.� Jenna said.
�Block? I�ll knock your block off....� Sawa thought to herself.
�Why don�t we just chill for today and go to the local �Teen Shack� after school.�
�Teen Shack?� Sawa said.
�It�s were all the kids...well the ones that don�t go cram for school as much go. You should really go often. They have bands and everything a teen loves there.� Selene smiled.
�Yeah, even fights.� Kit said.
�What do they fight for?� Sawa said.
�Anything. Boys, rumors, you name it.� Jenna said.
�Oh.� Sawa said sighing.
Sawa had a flashback of what it was like back in Japan. She missed her friends, boyfriend and her grandmother especially. Selene and Merisa watched as Sawa had tears come from her eyes.
�Sawa?� Merisa and Selene said.
�H-o-m�� Sawa cried getting up with her hands on her face running to the bathroom.
Merisa followed Sawa in the bathroom.
�Sawa? Are you ok?� Merisa said.
Sawa ran out of a stall, out the left door and jumped up on the roof. Merisa followed. Up on the rooftop Sawa stood facing a man in a dark cape.
�You! You follow us everywhere!� Sawa shouted.
�I see you have a visitor too.� The young man in the cape said.
�What is up with you two?� Merisa said.
�This is why I ran out of the lunch room.� Sawa said pointing to the man.
�Him? Who is he?� Merisa said pondering.
Just as Merisa crossed an arm with her elbow on top and her finger on her mouth. A spark went through the man�s head. He crouched on the ground.
�Damn! What are you?� The man said.
�His name is Tamehome. The worthless excuse of an ex-boyfriend.� Sawa said.
�Oh, worthless am I. There are more secrets to your family that I am bound to find out.� Tamehome laughed.
�Secrets?� Merisa said.
Sawa growled. She jumped high in the air and jumped down on Tamehome�s shoulders.
�I had enough of you and your evil ways! Begone!� Sawa shouted flipping on her hands with Tamahome at the end and tossing him across town.
�Wow! That was amazing, but why is Tamahome after you?� Merisa asked.
�Promise me you won�t freak out:?� Sawa said.
�I would have already. I�m not a scaredy cat.� Merisa said.
�Ok. Don�t say I didn�t warn you.� Sawa said putting her hands together below her lips.
�What?� Merisa said looking at Sawa.
�BOOM!� Both girls heard below them.
Next they saw students evacuating the school. Selene, Jenna and Kit looked up and saw Merisa and Sawa on the roof.
�Look!� Jenna shouted pointing up.
�Merisa! Sawa! What are you doing up there?� Selene shouted.
�Uh...� Sawa fiddled with her fingers.
�To finish our art project.� Merisa chuckled.
�Art?� Kit said.
�Yeah...landscaping.� Sawa smiled.
Up above them Tamahome laughed. All the students looked and saw a guy floating above them.
�It�s not nice to lie!� Tamahome laughed.
�Who is he?� Selene asked.
�How can he fly?� Jenna asked.
�Is this a weird day or what?� Kit said.
�I�m sure all of you loved that blast in school. Ha ha ha ha!� Tamahome laughed landing on the school rooftop.
�You caused it?� Merisa said.
�One and only! I wouldn�t expect any of you five girls to do anything about it!� Tamahome laughed.
Just as he finished, Shin came behind Tamahome and hit Tamahome with a frying pan.
Kashi had grabbed Selene, Kit and Jenna and brought them on the rooftop with him. Tamahome pranced around the rooftop hurting from the hot pan.
�Time block!� Kashi yelled.
Everything around them stopped they all were in a block where it didn�t affect anything they did.
�What is going on here?� Selene asked.
�Um....� Sawa said.
�I can explain.� Kashi said.
�Explain what?� Merisa said.
�We actually don�t originate from Japan.� Sawa said.
�We come from 3 galaxies light years away.� Shin said.
�Um...right.� Kit said sarcastically.
�Its true. Tamahome knows it too well.� Kashi said.
�He�s indisposed at the moment.� Jenna Chuckled.
�I knew these would come in handy.� Sawa said giving everyone a gem.
The gems started to glow. They flew out of their hands and up in the air. It formed one giant crystal ball in a white light. The ball zapped up Tamahome. Then the crystal formed as a lady with light blue hair and ice blue eyes. Her hair stretched to the floor and she wore ice color makeup.
�What?� Kit said looking at the lady.
�I�m glad you gave the gems to them.� Lady in blue said.
�Um...who are you?� Selene asked.
�Oh I�ve been rude haven�t I? I am Lady Yukuyo.� Lady Yukuyo said.
�Oh.� Selene said.
�This is my mother.� Sawa said.
�She�s your mother?� Merisa said.
�She�s our mother, Sawa.� Shin said.
�No, she likes me better.� Sawa giggled.
�Sawa. Be nice to your brothers.� Lady Yukuyo said.
�So why are you here?� Jenna asked.
�And why are you a hologram?� Kit asked.
�She�s dead.� Kashi said.
�Dead?� Kit, Jenna, Selene and Merisa said in shock.
�Yes. Its true. They survive with their butler who poses as their father.� Lady Yukuyo said.
�What happened to your father?� Merisa said.
�That low life deserted us. We don�t know where he went.� Kashi said.
�That�s ok. We�ll survive.� Sawa said.
�He�s alive and well. He�s closer then you think.� A voice from the air said.
�What!� Shin said.
�You will eventually meet. Face to face, my darlings.� The voice laughed evilly from the air and disappeared.
�That is strange.� Kashi said.
They all climbed down from the roof and time resumed as normal. After lunch Sawa had a special class with Merisa. It was the school�s ice skating team.
Shin also had that class. Neither Sawa or Shin had been on ice before.
�Um...what�s that.� Sawa said sitting across from Merisa.
�Ice skates. Haven�t you ice skated before?� Merisa said.
�No. I learn quick though.� Sawa said.
Shin had put his skates on already and tried walking over to his sister and Merisa on them. Merisa had finished putting on the skates for Sawa and they stood up.
He walked past a bunch of rude jocks and one jock put his leg out so he tripped. Shin fell forward and landed on Merisa�s chest.
�Woo yeah!� One jock said.
Merisa lifted him up. Shin turned around and punched the guy that tripped him and apologized to Merisa.
�OW!� A boy named Brett said.
�Brett, I saw what you did.� Merisa said.
Brett got up and got in Merisa�s face.
�You really think I�m going to let a new boy take over your feelings. Your so wrong.� Brett said.
�I�m not your girl. We belong to two different places. Guess where yours is.� Merisa said walking away.
Brett grabbed Merisa�s right wrist and spun her around towards him. Shin tapped Brett on the back and was delivered another sucker punch.
�Let her go.� Shin said.
Sawa walked up to Merisa. Shin grabbed Merisa and Sawa grabbed Merisa left wrist.
�Creep!� Sawa shouted.
�Lesbian!� Brett shouted and laughed.
Sawa stopped and literally ran on her ice skates with her blade covers. She jump kicked Brett with her left leg hitting his jaw. Brett fell back and Sawa went out on the ice.
Out on the ice, Shin held Merisa�s hand. He then went towards the exit.
�What are you doing?� Merisa said.
�I have to show you something.� Shin said putting his blade covers on.
Merisa let go of his hands and put her blade covers on. Shin took her outside the gym skating rink and in the hall towards the locker rooms. He grabbed her hand and walked in a dark corner.
�What did you want to show me?� Merisa asked.
Shin put his forehead against hers. Merisa looked at him strangely.
�Close your eyes.� Shin said.
�What for?� Merisa said with an evil look.
�Just close them.� Shin said.
�Ok, just don�t try anything funny.� Merisa said closing her eyes.
Shin closed his eyes and a burst of light flew in between them knocking them down.
They opened their eyes and looked up.
�What?� Shin said.
�Who is he?� Merisa said.
�So young, so beautiful. You�re much too clever to be kissed by him.� The guy in black with shades said.
�Kiss!?� Merisa shouted.
�No, I wasn�t.� Shin said.
�You were trying too kiss me weren�t you! I knew it!� Merisa said standing up.
Shin stood up.
�No, I wasn�t.� Shin said.
�Ha! I wouldn�t believe it. By the way the name is Xavier.� Xavier said taking off his shades.
�Xavier, white, stood �5 11" tall, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black leather coat and black pants.�
�Well thanks Xavier.� Merisa said walking away.
�Hey, wait! What�s your name?� Xavier said turning facing Merisa.
�Merisa.� Merisa said going back into the ice rink.
�You bastard!� Shin said lunging behind Xavier. Xavier turned around and threw Shin back.
�Don�t try toying with me kid. I�ve got my eyes on the prize.� Xavier said going in the gym.
�I�ll get you Xavier!� Shin said getting up.
Soon after they got in the gym some other classrooms came in to skate. Selene, Jenna, Kit and Kashi.
�Isn�t this something. We can skate now since we don�t have homework.� Jenna smiled.
�Yeah.� Selene said.
Kit sees Sawa comforting Merisa who looks mad.
�Uh-oh. I think Merisa�s mad.� Kit said walking towards Sawa and Merisa.
Selene, Jenna and Kashi followed.
�I didn�t know you have morals.�Sawa said.
�I just met your brother. He tried kissing me.� Merisa said.
�Shin didn�t know. He�s just weird.� Kashi said.
Merisa and Sawa looked up.
�Weird?� Merisa said.
�Yeah, I share the same room with him. There is no need to be mad at Shin.� Kashi said.
�Well if he wants to do some good for me. He�ll keep his distance for now.� Merisa said going out on the ice.
�Whoa. I didn�t think anyone could be that mad about a kiss.� Sawa said.
�Merisa sticks by what she sees.� Selene said.
�Meaning what?� Sawa said.
�Her lips are precious and off limits until she starts dating.� Kit said.
�Off limits?� Jenna said.
�Yes, remember. Unless she likes the guy.� Selene said.
�I don�t think that will take long then. She told me this guy named Xavier came and stopped Shin.� Sawa said.
�Xavier?� Kit said.
�Who is he?� Jenna asked.
Sawa shrugs her shoulders.
�Could that be him on the ice, going towards Merisa.� Selene point out.
Out on the ice Merisa was skating around. Xavier came behind her and put his arms around her.
Merisa turned around and saw Xavier.
�Xavier? What are you doing here?� Merisa said.
�I came to ask you something.� Xavier said.
�What are you wanting to say?� Merisa said.
�I-� Xavier said but was interrupted by a crash in the ceiling.
All of the students looked and saw a man on top of an Iceberg in the middle of the rink.
�Time for revenge!� Tamahome shouted.
�Not him again!� Sawa said.
Tamahome looked around and spotted Merisa and Sawa.
�Herah!� He shouted blasting ice at them.
Xavier slid Merisa out of the rink and Sawa ducked below.
All the students started panicking and running towards the exit. Xavier took the ice blast. Shin was mad. He saw everything. Sawa peeked over the plastic window.
�That was close.� Sawa said.
All but Kashi, Selene, Kit, Jenna, Merisa, Shin, Sawa, Xavier and Tamahome left the rink.
�I said I would return! I�m not leaving until you get what�s coming to you!� Tamahome said jumping down on the ice.
As soon as he landed he flipped on his back.
�What an idiot.� Kit said.
Merisa ran out on the ice and tried getting Xavier out of the ice cube.
�Let him chill, Merisa.� Shin said standing in front of her.
�Let him chill? Are you nuts? He saved my life.� Merisa said.
�Saved your life? He�s a liar.� Shin said.
�Ahem! Hello people! I�m still here.� Tamahome said.
Merisa stands up and smacked Shin across his face.
�Do me a favor and leave me alone!� Merisa said kneeling down at X avier.
�The spell can�t be broken unless I die!� Tamahome said.
�No problem.� Kit smirked cracking her knuckles.
Tamahome saw Kit next to him and �WHAM!� He was knocked straight up in the air and out of the world.
�Wow! That�s amazing.� Kashi clapped.
�I know. I surprise myself sometimes.� Kit giggled.
�That was out of this world!� Sawa said.
�Literally.� Jenna, Selene and Merisa said.
Xavier thawed out from the ice cube. The next thing they know. The paramedics came and carried him out on the stretcher. School got out at 11:00 since Tamahome did more then damage the ice rink.
