The first two difficultys are fairly easy,but when you get to the last difficulty,Expert,you will most likely find it a challenge.The next mode is Gate Trial.It's not my particular favourite,but it stil interests me.Basically you have to make it through as many gates as you can in as little time as you can.The third mode I will cover is Trick Attack and you have a choice of three enviroments to choose from.The first is 'Air Make' which is an enormous ski jump,next is 'Half Pipe' which are lots of half pipes with drops in between them,and finally it is 'All Terrian' with a mixture of grind bars and big air.The final game mode is Time Trial.C'mon,I don't need to explain this one.Anyone who doesn't know what this is shouldn't be on this website.
Now to the bits which arn't so good like the soundtrack and the difficulty of stringing together combos in Trick Attack mode.The soundtrack is pretty poor.I only seemed to find three songs which are half decent.Combo tricks are without doubt the hardest bit to learn on the whole game.At the moment,the highest combo I can manage is x3.The other bad parts to this game were the short courses and Trick Attack mode.Some of the courses in 1080' are far too short,and really don't give you a sense of acheivement at the end.Trick Attack mode is really good,but at some times it isn't very smooth and features some slowdown and rough trick animation.
It didn't take me long to realise what a great game this.If you want a fast,mature,but at the same time race oriented game,get 1080' Avalanche.If not,buy SSX3.I made my decision,it's time to make you'rs!!
