Academic Assistance

Who is eligible for assistance?

If you are a student at LMCC, you may seek academic advice or tutoring assistance to avoid failing a class or to achieve academic honors. Please adhere to the following requirements when you enter the Academic Assistance Center:

• Bring your textbooks and class notes
• Detail specific questions or problems
• Do not expect tutors to do your work
• Show that you have been attending class

Tutors are available for one-on-one study or in group study sessions. You also may use any of the self-help guides available at the center.

Any student enrolled in an LMCC class is eligible for academic assistance. Materials such as CBT, video, and CD items are available to students.
