- It's possible to put the goalie on his knees when you outsmart him with special moves and fancy footsteps .
- You can score from long shots, breakaways, rebounds and even own goals.
- ESPN's frequent replays adds a realistic television atmosphere .
- The MLS logos and jerseys are very accurate.
- Scenario mode is well tought and very challenging
Cons:
- the players that aren't in the MLS league have invented names
- Your created player can not play in an MLS team
- You can not edit an already existing player.
- The game's graphics are average since every player has a muscular robotic look.
- You need to earn points to create a good player, if you don't do so, your player's stats will all be at the number 1. example: shooting 1/8 , passing 1/8.
- MLS teams are stronger than world soccer super powers like Brazil,Italy and Argentina.
Overall: You should buy this game if you are a true soccer fan. Konami's gameplay is refreshing and different than previous soccer game. Extra-time 2002 takes the silver medal right after Fifa 2003 for the best gamecube soccer game title.
