While the series is still in development, three major characters have been pinned down. (I'd originally planned on having four, but that proved difficult and pointless. The character's role has been changed. ^~)

Malach, Elizabeth
Eye color: Pink
Hair color: Mint green
Hair style: Very long; somewhat fluffy/thick; kept in high ponytail
She who is our protagonist out of the main three. A sixteen-year-old and younger twin, Elly is one who doesn't like what trends have done to people. Thinking about it too much depresses her, so she just focuses on the tasks at hand like that school self-expression contest that Ms. Kayes made everyone enter. Music is her specialty, but she's not about to join the band. Elly will soon realize that maybe the way she sees things isn't the better way
Malach, Diego
Eye color: Pink
Hair color: Mint green
Hair style: Short; whispy
Sixteen-year-old older twin brother of Elly. He's into sports and is, like his sister, a musician as well. Not that he dedicates as much time to it as he does sports, but he's still a very capable artist. He's well-liked around the student body. He shares his sister's views about trends and cliques, but isn't as extremist as she is. Diego is still not sure what he's going to do for the self-expression contest. He has known Aida for as long as Elly has, and now thinks he's feeling something more
Camson, Aida
Eye color: Red
Hair color: Golden brown
Hair style: Relatively short; wavy
Other: Glasses
Fifteen-year-old (until April) writer-in-the-making, Aida is Elly's best friend. They grew up together, so it's only natural that she's comfortable around Diego, too. She's on the Riverbende Weekly staff (the Weekly is the school newspaper) and plans to enter an essay for the self-expression contest. Aida isn't exactly aware of what Diego feels for her, but she sort of likes him, too
