THE ARRIVAL OF SAILOR MOON:: Serena is a clutzy teenage girl. She discovers her destiny when she stops a bunch of young boys bullying a black cat. She rescues the cat and removes a plaster from it's head to reveal a cresent moon. Serena is suprised but the cat flees and Serena has to run to school because she is - as usual - late. She fails her yet another test at school and is sent to study at the library by her mother. She gets home and promptly falls asleep. She is woken up by a cat jumping in her window. The cat is the very same one she rescued earlier. Serena is convinced that she is dreaming because this cat informs her that her name is Luna and she has been watching Serena throughout the day and is now absolutely certain that Serena is not just an ordinary school-girl. She is in fact Sailor Moon, the Sailor Scout destined to protect both the Earth and the Moon from the evil that has been once more unleashed. Luna gives Serena a brooch and tells her how to transform into Sailor Moon. Still thinking it's a joke Serena does as she's told and is transformed into Sailor Moon. It soon stops been a game when she discovers that her best friend Molly and Molly's mother are in danger from a negaverse monster. Luna helps guide Sailor Moon to defeat the monster which to her own suprise she does. She rescues her friend and defeats the enemy. Thus starts the story of Sailor Moon.
