A man is cursed to go backwards in years every birthday that he is unable to complete the rite of passage that is blowing out the candles on the cake. It's about the oddities of this tradition in our country as being witnessed first-hand by a man who has "de-aged" to a point where he is younger than his own daughter. To help with the irony, he's a smoker with a nasty cough and therefore, ever decreasing candle-blowing power.
A woman who is a victim of domestic abuse suspects her husband of killing a well-respected member of the community. Can she rely on the support of her best friend and a pushy social worker to help determine how evil her husband really is? After a long sabbatical, I'm going to pick the pen back up on this project.

A couple who are trying to salvage their marriage go to the family cabin on the mountain. But they aren't the only ones going there. A man stumbles upon the cabin, claiming to be running from psychotic hunters. But is he to be trusted? The only way to find out is to go back inside and go separate ways.
