| Jay, a born entertainer, recalls telling stories on his Philadelphia patio at age 9, when he also stopped piano studies. But an encounter with Nat King Cole at 15 renewed his interest in music. He also studied Drama & Directing, and Comedy Improv with George Morrison, of Second City fame.
Jay graduated USC Cinema/TV Arts via two scholarships. By 1975 he had an Oscar and Emmy nomination, a Writers Guild award, and began composing music for film/TV and commercials. In 2005, he wrote, produced, and directed "Showbiz AZ", a 60-min. talk show for KAZ-TV. Jay Steinberg * P.O. Box 5120 * Phoenix, AZ 85010 * (602)952-0626 Email: [email protected] |
