| There comes a time in the course of events when a country or people must make a choice. For as history reminds us, great nations have come and gone from our history books. Once great nations fallen from grace. We as a people must unite behind our president and our country. It is time for the politicians to quit being democrat and republican first, but unite as Americans, working together for the good of all. Arguing has never solved a thing in the history of the world. WE have watched far too much bickering and dissension, it is time for us to change the way we treat our fellow Americans. It is time that people learned we are American first, and proud to be so. United we stand, divided we fall! It is time we found the things that bring us together, instead of looking for our differences. It is time to end the bickering and start the Unity. It is time for us to get back to the values America was founded on. Our forefathers came to America for freedom of worship. They started a new country at great peril, with High Ideals, and High hopes, and worked by the sweat of their brow, and labored to build a great nation based on God, and on hard work, and freedom. They fought and died for our freedom and liberty, and freedom to worship, and it seems some folks would like us to forget that. Someplace along the way someone came along and said, I have freedom and I choose to deny God, and you are going to take Him out of your country. Out of your schools, out of your courts, out of your homes and out of your lives. Someone thought that personal rights came before God. Someone said, no more nativity sets in public places, don't even dare to post the 10 commandments, and someone said, its ok to kill babies if you don't want them. Someplace along the way, we forgot our values and God. We lost sight of how our country was founded. How did we let the people rob us of these things? How did we let them take away every symbol of religious freedom in public. The least harmful things in our public schools would be a morning prayer to unite students and give them hope in a higher power. The most powerful thing in our schools is to give children hope that someone is watching over us, that cares about us from birth to death, and is there in our time of need! Why would we deny students and anyone the right to pray in public? America must take back the ground we lost. We must unite in purpose, in patriotism, and first of all in our unity and belief in God. We must become great again. Return and repent to the God that we based our freedom on when we first established this country. For a country divided against itself cannot stand. It is time that we stopped bickering and started helping each other. It is time we started ministering to our neighbors instead of avoiding them. It is time we gave instead of receiving. It is time to gather together in unity and purpose and bring this country to it's knees in prayer to God. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and heal their Land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 But you see my friend. God is God. He is almighty and powerful. The God of a thousand generatons. Many will come and go in power, but God is forever. All else will pass away. He is the great Physician, our Saviour, our very hope. No one else has the power to save our nation, our people and our hearts. America was founded on such thoughts, it is time we brought them back in the forefront again. No person should be able to take that out of America, or away from our children. America needs God more that ever before. And my friends, this is just the beginning. WE must make God a firm foundation for our lives, for when all is shaky and failing, we have a hiding place with the Almighty, all powerful, Living, wise and supernatural God. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know your name will put their trust in You, For you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalms 9:9-10 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. Remember what is on the American coins. In God we trust. Let us be America Again. In God we trust first!! |
