John is the very very very loyal first officer of the Excalibur,sarcastic at times,it's fun to see him have conversations with Matthew,Galen and Max.John is a telepath probaly P-5,he was a psi-corp,during the final years of the psi-corps,John was quite involved with some of the things that happened,he helped the resistance to destroy the last remaining base of the psi-corps,though he did not really betray the psi-corps,he is haunted by the memory.As a kid,John always wanted to be on a starship to explore worlds and undiscovered space,and looks like his dreams came true.John nearly did not make it to the Excalibur crew because he was a telepath, and the government were afraid of what the people would think because the mundanes did not really welcome telepaths even though the psi-corps was banned.
