The Excalibur are on a planet similar to Earth(ain't it always),for the first time the crew are going to use the nanovirus found in The Memory Of War for protection,it will only last for 48 hours.Thier mission this time is to get a crew of roughly 30 people all human,out of the planet because they believe that the crew is infected with the virus before they were able to leave earth.After doing some blood test,Chambers confirms that they are indeed infected,but the crew refuses to leave.Meanwhile,Dureena is wandering around as usual and she finds a dying man,when she opens his hood ,she realizes that he and she are of the same race,the man says he's dying and that she should go up to a hill as many are waiting for her,and she does,when she finds a tribe of people all of the same race,she's stunned and calls Chambers to come check it out,Chambers who was up in the Excalibur with Gideon comes down to check things out,on her way down,he tells Chambers to go down to the planet and check out the crew's ship to see if there is anything suspicious,and there she finds that the food are poisoned with the virus.While she was doing that,Dureena finds out that a 1000 years ago,this people were taken from their planet to work as slaves but something attacked them and the survivors of the incident gathered together as a tribe,Dureena tells them that their homeworld is dead and that they are the last of their race.After checking out the ship's dumb,Chambers goes off to see what Dureena wants her to check out,when she finds the Zanderians or Zander Primers or whatever,Dureena tells Chambers to check and see if they were infected,and she treatens Chambers that if she tells anyone about her people she's gonna hold her reponsible.After that, they are attacked by one of the crew manges to run away with Chambers as hostage,Dureena informs Gideon and Gideon goes back to the Excalibur,as Dureena and the crew's spokesman watch his fellow crewmates escapes in a shuttle,Dureena finds out that they all have cybernetic implants.Gideon tries to negotiate with the crew and later helps them fake their death.Gideona and the crew makes a deal,they stay here and he'll make sure that nobody goes near the planet.After that,Gideon tells Dureena to apologize to Chambers,and that he knows about her people and that she should trust Chambers and him more. She goes to medlab and apologize and Chambers tells them that her people can't last as long as an infected human,they will die in 1 year.Only 4 people know about Dureena's people,Dureena,Gideon,Chambers,and Eilerson..........Who knows,maybe Galen and Matheson too?They have their ways,you know?You can't trust me!See for yourself! |
