Probably one of the most important aspect to building a telescope you will encounter is the
materials you will use to build it. A great deal of thought should go into what kind of wood, metals or other materials
that will suit your situation. Mine was making my scope compact enough to fit in the back trunk of
my Toyota corolla. Pretty small for a 13.1 inch scope. I choose low profile and ignored the proper standards of
center balancing the scope over adding a weight system to compensate for its design. This allowed
me to have a compact 13 inch high rocker and mirror box neatly packed together.
