How do I do this?
By either advertising or inviting.
What do I get in return?

How to do it:
1) Advertising:
You may find different ways of advertising, the the main way is to use the Neopets Guild Message Board. You can create new topics with headings such as "Girls Guild" and provide a link to the guild inside OR you can reply to other topics when someone asks for a guild or say they are "guildless" try to reply to these people as soon as possible so there is more chance that they will read your message.
The best way to make the advertisment eye-catching is to write it in a large font with a colour other than black, but make sure the text is readable (so don't use a light colour like yellow) Go to "Chat preferences" to change fonts.

2)Inviting:
At the guild, under "options" there is a link called "invite" if you see somebody that may be interested in the guild, (e.g they have a "girly" username etc) then enter their username and an invite will be sent to them.
