The Cybermen are humans that have replaced themselves with various metal parts. They are from the planet Mondas, the tenth planet in our solar system. The planet spun off of our galaxy and onto another. The Cybermen based their society on logic and turned to computers. They are constantly coming to Earth to obtain precious minerals and to keep their race alive... by assimulating humans. They have been defeated by every Doctor except the third. The Doctor finally ( history wise) distroyed them in the episode "Attack of the Cybermen". |
