I particulary like this story because it has so many twists and turns and when you think it's over... the real action starts.

| The Doctor Returns to Gallifrey and his behavior is becoming more and more erratic, and claims his rightful place as the Presedent of Gallifrey then promptly betrays his own race by letting an invasion force of Vardans land on Gallifrey. A rebelion is started by one of the guard commanders, Andred, to try and dispose of the Doctor, and Leela is banished to the wastelands of the planet, but the Doctor is setting a trap for the Vardans. When he succeeds in defeating them, everything seems as though it will go back to normal but while the sheild defence barriers arround Gallifrey are down, an invasion force of Sontarans landed, and they try to take over Gallifrey and the power of the Timelords. The Doctor has to use a D-Mat gun to stop them, and loses his memory of the entire event. Borusa claims it the knowledge of Rassalon. As the Doctor prepares to leave, both Leela, who has fallen in love with Andred, and K-9 decide to stayon Gallifrey. As the TARDIS takes off, the Doctor pulls out a box containing all the componets needed to build a K-9 Mark II.
