Information from the Matrixconcerning the Doctor has been stolen and transmitted to a being in the universe of antimatter. When the Time Lords discover that this being is trying to bond with the Doctor, they decide the easiest way to deal with the problem is to put the Doctor to death. Little is known do they know that the creature trying to transfer into our universe is none other thatn Omega, one of the greatest Time Lords of past history. Omega is quite insane, taking Tegan captive and threatening the Doctor with her life if he doesn't surrender to his will. The Doctor evades Omega and travels to Amsterdam, Germany to discover Omega has temporairly bonded with the Doctor. After a run down through Amsterdam, the Doctor stops Omega once and for all.
This story is one of my favorite Doctor Who stories. The new outfit for Omega is specacular, the seens in Amsterdam are great, and the plot is terrific. Anyone recognise Counciler Heiden? He also played Borussa in the Invasion of Time. I could watch this story over and over again. |
