| The second actor to play the Doctor was Patrick Troughton. After the Doctor regenerated, he took on a new form. His newer form was younger than his proceeder. He is a short little man with a bowl cut style hair, like the Bettles. The Doctor now exhibits a more comical aproach to his line of work. (If he had a line of work). To the foe he appears to be six steps behind, but is actually two steps ahead. He wears just about what William Hartnell wore only it is more of a hoboish style. He wears a blue and whit polka-dot bow tie. He now seems to be more interested in the people he meets and not the adventures in time he confronts. In this regeneration, the Doctor somehow has developed a like for music, and expresses this when in stress by playing a recorder. In this regeneration, we first see the use of the sonic screwdriver. The sonic scre driver is capable of many things. It normally is used for picking locks, but can also be used fo disarming land mines, The Sea Devils ~Jon Pertwee, Robot ~Tom Baker. The Doctor could rarely fix anythingin the TARDIS witch is not uncommon for any of the Doctors. The Doctor also meet up sith some new and interesting foes. The Yeti, harry beasts that are actually robot monsters controlled by the great intelegence, The Abominable Snowmen and The Web of Fear. The Ice Warriors also make teir appearence, The Ice Warriors and The Seeds of Death. He sadly regenerated when the Timelords exhiled him to earth in a new body. Patrick Troughton was Doctor from 1966 - 1969. He appeared in other Doctor Who films as well, The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors, and The Two Doctors. |
