To all attendants of the 9/23/00 LAN,
There has been a situation that has
been addressed to the founding member of The Gala of Slapp LAN. This is situation is
Stealing. Absolutely NO stealing will be tolerated or
allowed at any LAN event! On behalf of the Gala of Slapp, I apologize for this mishap, and
future events will be better organized and ran.
If you plan to steal don't come to any
of our LANs. This is about fun, not about trying to figure out who took your shit.
We know who the culprit is and we will take appropriate action against him.
As of now, anyone that is caught
stealing will be banned from all future LANs. We will send your name to every LAN telling
them you're a rat bastard. The following go into affect from here on:
All required fields must be filled
out or you will not be able to attend the LAN. NO EXCEPTIONS!
You must bring your
registration confirmation to get into the LAN.
If you are caught
stealing, the police will be notified, and you will work out your differences with them.
If any false
information is found in your registration form, your form will be rejected.
Please note: all
registration forms are kept confidential at all times, then deleted once the LAN is over.
We are trying hard to
create a positive gaming experience for everyone, and cannot do this if people wish to
attend our LANs and steal from other attendees. On behalf of The Gala of Slapp, I
apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anyone. I hope this situation will
never arise again.
