Lucius had been shocked as his son began to cry because he thought something had happend to his father.
It warmed Luc everytime his son showed how much he meaned to him.
He was also proud because Sev had said he would make Draco his apprentice. And Draco accepted it.
As they made their way back to Dumbledore to tell him about it someone ran into him at full speed. He and the other two Slytherins had known that someone else was there but they hadn't expected him/her to run into them.
As he looked down he saw a boy. With sandy hair and blue eyes that seemed dazed and full of pain.

The boy seemed to panic and so Lucius did the only thing he knew. He stroke the boy across the cheek.
It hadn't the wished effect cause now he stopped breathing entirely and went still.
