Bryan Choi
Bryan Choi was born on January of 1976 in Brooklyn, New York. He met up with Shaun Charney while booth where students at Cal State San Bernardino. He had a weekly comic strip called College Boys published in the Cal State Riverside and San Bernardino student news papers. After introducing him to Galactic we asked him if he was interested in reprinting those strips in a more conventual style of comic book through Galactic. After reformatting it College Life 101 was born.
The first issue and a half mainly just the strips that had already seen life in the student newspapers. But the second half of issue two as well as three and four would be all original.
Bryan Choi over the last couple of years has become a big part of Galactic. His book has gathered a big following and this last July him and Shaun Charney had the first ever Galactic booth at the 2002 Anime Expo in Long beach California.
With new projects on the horizon Bryan Choi looks as if he will be bring great things to Galactic Comics in the future.
