"How much farther, Afeb?" Akoogari shouted out over the roar of the engines.
"Umm..." Afeb replied trying to check his datapad and drive at the same time, "Umm, looks like another 230 meters or so."
Akoogari slowed to a stop and Afeb did the same. He pulls a camouflaged blanket out from a pouch on his landspeeder and pulled it over his swoop to keep it hidden.
"Ditch your bike here, we don't want those morons to see this coming," the dark blue Rodian said to the furry Bothan, "Lets get moving."
The began the 200 meter walk towards the place that the informant said the convoy would be going through.
Afeb asked nervously, "Your informant is trust-worthy, right? I mean I don't want to walk into an ambush. You know?"
"Don't worry, I trust them, well as much as I trust most people that work for Jabba, Ok well I don't trust that nerf that much. But he knows better than to lie to someone like me," he said as he flashed a wicked grin at Afeb, "No one is that dumb, well... Ok, a lot of people are that dumb, but don't worry.
Akoogari looked around the clearing and noticed a large rock near the edge of a forest.
"Look good?" he asked and Afeb shrugged.
Akoogari said, "Well I guess this will work. We don?t actually have to be hidden."
Afeb shrugged and sat down on the rock, "So when did your "friend" say the convoy is coming through? And he said it was only 4 or 5 armed thugs right? Right?"
"What does it matter? I can handle 'em, I mean we," he grinned then continued to say, "You'll do fine, your getting better with your fists than I am, but I was a good teacher wasn't I?"
Afeb shakes his head at his friend and thinks to himself, "He may be arrogant, but he is actually a good guy."
They waited there for about an hour when they heard the faint rumble of repulsor lifts to their right.
Akoogari jumped up and said, "Get behind the rock, I'll take out the drivers then we will rush when they are stopped." as he dives behind the rock, pulling Afeb behind him.
"Don't move and be quiet until I say charge Ok!" he whispered.
"Oh.. Ohh... Ok...kkay," he replied nervously.
Akoogari glances in the way of the oncoming convoy. He could see four landspeeders being escorted by five swoops. As they approached Akoogari leaned up over the rock and began to pick off the drivers of the landspeeders. Three of the landspeeders grind to a halt while one burst forward when the dead driver fell onto the thrust pedal.
"GO AFEB, GET THE PASSENGERS IN THE LANDSPEEDERS," Akoogari yelled as he sprang forward and jumped onto the side of the loose speeder.
Akoogari struggled to pull himself onto the back of the landspeeder. The passenger was struggling with the dead body trying to get it off of the pedal. Akoogari was almost into the speeder when the thug managed to pull his dead cohort free and smashed the brake. Akoogari lost his grip and went flying forward of the speeder, smashing into the ground. He rolled over and pushed himself to get up, drawing his fwg5.
"This would have been a lot easier if you DID THAT SOONER!" as he brought up his blaster and shot a bolt square into the head of the zabrak and it fell dead.
He rubbed his head and turned to run back to help Afeb, who he had abandoned with eight thugs that were probably out for blood...
Afeb rushed and jumped up onto the back of the landspeeder and swung his vibroknuckler down bashing the passenger in the face, instantly splitting the side of his cranium and killing him. He then dove off the right side of and rolled under the speeder, dodging 3 blaster shots coming in from 3 of the dismounting swoopers. At that moment Akoogari came rushing up firing wildly at one of the swoopers still on their bike, hitting him square in the chest and distracting the other swoopers away from Afeb under the landspeeder. Afeb crawled out the left side and ran back to the rear landspeeder, grabbed the passenger that was going for his blaster and pulled him out and threw him into the ground. He kneeled down and plunged the vibroknuckler on his throat.
Then two of the dismounted swoopers rushed Afeb. He jumped up and punched one in the stomach and then gave him an upper cut in the chest with his vibroknuckler. The other was coming up behind him and right before he had the chance to stab Afeb with his dagger; Akoogari blasted him in the back. The last dismounted swooper rushed Akoogari and was quickly dropped by the cold steel of Akoogari's blaster against his head. He placed his foot on the neck of the downed thug.
Akoogari said, "Your shipment now belongs to the Venja, I don't think Borvo is going to like this," as he pulled the trigger on his blaster aimed at the thugs head.
Akoogari noticed the last passenger trying to get his dead friend out of the driver seat so he could escape. He shot the engine causing the front of the speeder explode sending shrapnel into the chest of the potential escapee. He then noticed the last swooper, who was still on his bike turn towards Moenia and speed off.
"AFEB, GET TO YOUR SWOOP AND GET AFTER HIM!" Akoogari screamed as he ran for his swoop.
Then both rushed for their swoops and uncovered them, turned them on and sped after the swooper.
As they got closer, Afeb yelled, "I HAVE AN IDEA, WHEN I GET CLOSE TO HIM, STEER MY BIKE!"
Akoogari nodded and moved next to Afeb as he got up beside the swooper, leaned over as far as he could as Akoogari steered his bike. He whipped his vibroknuckler into the face of the swooper, knocking him off of his bike. He fell with a thump and the sound of cracking bone. The swoop continued on and ran into the side of some Gungan statue. They turned around and made their way back to the destroyed convoy to collect their new goods.
