Driving Directions:
In Manitou Springs, from Manitou Ave east turn right onto Canon Ave.
Go to the Post Office and turn right, park on the right just before
the underpass.
The trailhead is about 100 yards north from the parking area.
The hike:
One of the most beautiful trails in the area. It follows the
creek that runs through the canyon for most of the way. There are two paths to take from there. One leads to Waldo Canyon and the other goes to Rampart Range Road.
Notes:
The first mile of the trail goes through land owned by The Cave of the Winds. You must obtain permission from The Cave of the Winds prior to hiking there. Each person must register once a year at the office. Call before hiking and confirm number of hikers in the group.
