Driving Directions:
From Colorado Springs, take I-25 north to the South Entrance of the Air Force Academy.
After you enter the academy turn left on Pine Drive, the street that Air Academy High is on.
A dirt road leading to the trailhead is on the left, just before the hospital.
The Hike:
A moderate hike with the first half being fairly steep but the payoff being the meadows near the Stanley Resevior. Since this trail follows a creek, it can get real icy in the Winter. Unless you're real adventurous, this trail is best left for warmer weather.
