Advanced Import Motorsports (AIM)
At first I thought this shop was going to be a decent shop because their lot had many nice mazdas including RX-7s.  The owner seemed really nice too.  I had a Vitek 4puck racing clutch mated to a lightened flywheel installed.  When I brought it to the company the dowl rods on the back/front of the flywheel were not seated properly so I made it known that they would need to be shot peened or fixed somehow in the flywheel.  He said ok and I thought everything was cool.  I picked the car up a week later and everything was gravy but about a month later my car started to gush, not leak, oil out of the tranny.  I called up AIM to see if they could fix it.  I had it towed to their shop after they gave me the go ahead and he took one look at my car, realizing who I was, and said that their front wheel drive mechanic had left the company and he wouldnt feel comfortable working on a front wheel drive car at the shop.  That right there sounded like a load of crap.  I then had it taken to Spitzer, this was the first time I met them, and they took the tranny apart.  Before installing the new tranny they showed me where AIM had actually broken a bolt and part of the tranny off when tightening it back together and how one of those dowls that I said needed to be fixed had shot through my gear box.  Keep in mind my car needed a new tranny anyway from the hole in the gear box so spitzer did not break this bolt when taking the tranny apart.  Therefore AIM would not cover the $100 it cost me to have the car towed to their shop and stuck to their story that they didnt cause any of the damage and would not even reimburse me a little.  The place I had the flywheel lightened even offered to take a look at the flywheel and see if it was their fault.  It wasnt becuase I had the flywheel reinstalled in the new tranny and it has been running great for a year now.  In closing AIM, bad company, bad dudes!
