| Chapter Eight The cosmological goodness is like Water, Water benefits all life and does not compete, resides within the disdained things of all mankind, hence it is so close to the Dao. (Heng: Even urine and shit contains water, and so even 'sin' has Dao. Hence cosmological goodness transcends reified religious 'goodness'...) To dasein (exist together) with cosmological goodness, empties the heart with it: Acts with accordance obtains compassion, Speaks with accordance obtains trust, Manages with accordance obtains order, Does with accordane obtains ability, Moves with accordance obtains timeliness. (Heng: Accordance with naturalness: the water that supports all life on this earth. Once attained, things flow naturally for completion.) He that does not compete, has no worries. |
