Ah Heng's Daoism Page
Chapter Seventy Two

If the masses do not fear authority,
then there is already great authority being implemented!!

Do not force them into a confined space,
then the masses would not be tired of their living space.
Because their life is not disturbed,
the masses will not be tired of their life.

Therefore the Enlightened knows this principle
but does not enforce it to reveal himself;
knows his own values and holds on to them
but does not tell the world to treasure them as if he has them.
Hence discard the latter and accepts the former.

(Heng: How divine. If you understand this Chapter, you will realize that all 'morality' and 'said virtues' are in fact harmful to the masses. Hence Confucianism is ultimately a joke.)
