| Chapter Fourty Two The Dao produces One, The One produces Two, The Two produces Three, The Three produces all the myriad Things, All things contains the negative yin and holds the positive yang, the Energy of such creative powers produces harmony. Why human beings are doers of Evil, is to enforce isolation, divorce relationships, and build their own shells, yet this is what the authorities constantly define themselves. (the truth is) What is thought to be harmful actually benefits it, what is thought to be beneficial actually harms it. Whatever humane teachings have been taught so far, I will also teach them as well. If the strong pillars of the countries die but lives in people's heart, I will also call them my teachers as well! (Heng: The Daoists will also teach Confucianism and Christianity as well.) (Heng: All manifestations to the eyes is the 'yang' which can be seen, but they contain latent 'yin' which is hidden from view and possesses the potential to change in the grand scheme of things. Although not exactly correct, it is best to understand such hidden 'yin' ultimately connects everything to the Dao. As the Energy flows through the world, things change seasonally and all myriad things naturally balance out to achieve Harmony. Nature is already at Harmony, if you try to bring human-conceptualized 'harmony', it will only result in wars and ultimately brings about Divine Punishment to the doer. In this case, if Confucianism is one Philosophy that solves the current problem, I will teach it to the people as well. Any past philosophers who can solve problems of the present, I will also hail them as my teachers to draw inspirations from. The divinity of Daoism is beyond any!!) |
