| Chapter Ten Carrying the divinity of One, can you not forsake it? To focus on the use of subtleness, can you be like a naive child? To delimit reifications and understand essences, can you reach perfect skillfulness? To love and manage a country, can you always be Wu Wei (allow naturalness)? To open up new opportunities, can you be invisible and nourishing? To understand all things under the sun, can you be always unknowing? (Heng: To empty the knowledge 'cogito' before learning) [To rear and nurture such Spirit, is to give birth and not to possess, to act and not to rely on, to sustain and not to change. Such is the Divine Xuan De] (Heng: I translate Xuan De as Cosmological Karma from now on.) |
