| Name: Hardys Nottage Hill (now drinking) Type: Red blends, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz Vintage: 2001 Producer: Hardys Tintara Winery Origin: Reynella, Australia Status: -- Place of Purchase: NTUC Fair Price (Tampines) Description: This wine blends in both Cabs and Shiraz and is rich in taste and aroma. Having a good structure, it is for drinkers who like a serious wine that is not so tannic. Its oak aroma is also good and has a heavy fruity taste that makes it delicious. It has a slight raisin and grape-like after-taste but it is still not strong enough to be completely enjoyable. Overall it's an ok wine - serious and sturdy and doesn't disappoint. It would delight any drinker who wants some richness in their wine. Costing around $20+, it's neverthelass a good buy. Rating: 7.5, not bad, but as I like very fruity wines, it's not exactly my style. |
