CH GAELWYN'S CELTIC DREAM
"A Dream Come True"
BIS/BISS Ch. Tiptop Come Fly With Me, ROM and Tapyoca's Slumber Party

IN 2004, KATE WAS THE #10 YORKSHIRE TERRIER AND THE #2 BITCH IN THE COUNTRY.
Kate has always been a very special yorkie to me, her breeder.  She has fulfilled so many dreams, hopes, and prayers that sometimes it's difficult to phatom how well she's done in the show ring and that I actually am blessed and priviledged enough to be owned by her.  She is definitely what dreams are made of.
I knew Kate had potential as a show dog from a young age and she has taken me on an adventure that I know I will never forget. Her special breed qualities and spectacular showmanship has rocketed her into a special's career with ranking in the Top 10 of the breed in only a few short months as a special.  She is definitely making her dam and sire proud.
Kate won Best of Breed under Judge Norm Patton at the Owensboro, KY show.  We had a very good weekend in KY and I'm very proud of Kate's accomplishments, the friendships I made, as well as the adventure we continue on together.

I've told so many of my friends that Kate is my blessing from God because without God's blessing, I don't think Kate would have accomplished so much in such little time.
To date, Kate has nine Best Breed wins in only 13 shows.
Many thanks to Carl Yochum who has inspired, encouraged, supported, and entrusted me with a special girl in Kate's dam, Tapyoca's Slumber Party "Subie".  Carl, you're the BEST!!  I hope Katie is making you proud.

Many, many thanks to all my friends who have uplifted me, supported me, loved me, and have helped me to succeed in the ring with Kate.  So many of you sacrificed so much for me that I can never put into words how grateful I am to you and to God for the blessing you have been to me.

To my husband, who has supported me throughout  my showing and has always found a way to financially, emotionally, and spiritually support me as well, even when times were difficult.  Thanks for being my Best Friend, Tom.

A special blessing was given to me a long time ago in the form of a mother.  Mama, I cannot thank you enough for the many prayers, words of encouragement, and just plain putting up with me that you've done. You, too, are my blessing from God.

Kate beginning her show career at six months old at the Central Florida Yorkshire Terrier Club.
Kate and I travelled to the Midwest in September for three weekends and had a very exciting time taking BOB 9 out of 10 shows.
In June, Kate and I went to the YTCA Roving National Specialty in Orlando, FL...I was very surprised and excited that Kate went Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed under breeder judge Kathleen Kohlbert.
Pictured here are Carl Yochum, Me, Kate, Janet Jackson, President YTCA, and Kathleen Kohlbert
Kate stands on the table at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.  This event is invitation only and Kate earned her invitation by finishing from the Bred-by Exhibitor class and finishing in the Top Ten of the breed in 2004.  Thanks to Sybil Worthington for taking pictures of Kate.
What a dream come true for me as Kate and I compete among the Top Yorkshire Terriers in the country as well as foreign yorkies at the National Championship.
Visit www.westminsterkennelclub.org to see Katie competing at Westminster.

A note of Thanks to my friends and family...
