| First and foremost, I believe in freedom. The freedom to be who you are, and all that it entails ... love who you want, say what you want, believe what you want, think what you want, wear what you want, look how you want, listen to what you want, do what you want, eat what you want, live how you want. I do not codemn others for having a diffent point of view or "modus operandi" (see RIGHTS).I have never been one to preach, prefering to lead by example. This does NOT mean that I hold no firm beliefs, quite the contrary. I believe in equal rights for all, across the board. I belive affirmative action is discrimination. I believe in the power of non-violence. I believe the only recourse at times is, unfortunately, physical action. I believe in the power of the vegan lifestyle-when properly researched and applied to one's individual needs- to heal and nurture us, our children, and the world. I believe that if we start learning to treat "lesser beings" better, we will treat ourselves and each other better. I believe we need a national defense. I don't believe that war is inevitable. I believe that by cutting arts programs in schools, we are limiting our future. I believe in personal responsibility. This is life, shit happens, stop whining, and deal with it. I believe we can learn something from EVERYONE, regardless of race, beliefs, hair color, musical preference, political views, clothing size or religion. I believe in the necessity of inner beauty. I believe in the power of cosmetics. NO ONE can degrade you unless you let them. I believe that adversity doesn't build character, it reveals it. I believe in a higher power. I don't believe it has a name. I believe in parental responsibility-stop blaming our schools and teachers, they are there to teach and guide our children, not to raise them. I believe George W. Bush is a charlatan. I believe marijauna should be decriminalized. I do not believe smoking pot is harmless. I believe we need a national health care program. I believe in technology. I believe in natural, environmentaly friendly living. I believe that the term "hippie" should have died after the 60's. I believe we as humans have forgotten the power of our intuition-listen to your "inner voice"-it's there for a reason, people! I believe in the power of humor. Laugh more-you'll feel better. I do not believe money is evil-it's more of a "gateway drug". I believe animal testing is unecessary, redundant, and a waste of the consumer's dollar. I believe in free enterprise. I believe prostitution should be regulated. I believe mental health counseling should be covered by Medicare/Medicaid. I believe the poor have rights. I believe in the First Amendment. I believe in the inherent good of taxes.
