| FIRST MET We are a very happy married couple from Hong Kong. We have been together since 1990. We met in an Orientation Camp of our university. We both studied Business in the same university. On the first day Gavin met me, Gavin said to himself, ��This girl won��t be my girlfriend��. At that time, Gavin thought Joyce is only childish girl. Anyway, we became very good friends since then. After the camp, we worked together for the same cabinet for voting to be the committee of the department of the university. Gavin started to explore more and more of my goodpoints. Then, one day, he asked me, on the phone, ��can you be my girlfriend?��. Hahaha, he wanted me to be his girlfriend??? Well, I immediately asked him, ��is that your illusion that you think you like me?��. He said no and then we started to be TOGETHER. |

| PARENTS' REACTIONS We didn��t hide our relationship from our parents. At first, my parents didn��t like that I dated someone because they thought that this might affect my studies. On the contrary, Gavin��s family was perfectly fine with our relationship. We both studied very hard, though we always skipped classes for movies. HeHe! At the end of our bachelor degree studies, we both obtained VERY GOOD academic results (I got 1st class honors, hehe and Gavin was the number 1 in 2nd class upper honors). Since then, my parents were happy that I have this boyfriend. |
| WORK & STUDY After graduation, we both started our working life. I became a high school teacher and Gavin became a human resources trainee. I had many ups and downs with my students and had thought of quitting the job. Gavin is always beside me and sooth me. With him, I passed my worst time. Thank Gavin!. Gavin has always enjoyed his working life as he can always apply what he learns into work. I admire him in this aspect so much. We continued our part-time studies after graduation. Besides the bachelor degree in business studies, I obtained another two postgraduate diplomas in Education and Psychology. Psychology is the most difficult one among all. Gavin studied MBA. Our parents always wanted us to get married. My mom always asked me, ��you two study and study, when are you going to get married?���K.. Well, after my psychology and Gavin��s MBA graduation in 1999. We got MARRIED in the same year. |
| MARRIED We held a very large banquet since it was the first banquet to both families. We had guests of 46 tables in our banquet. We felt so tired that night. We said to ourselves, ��We will NEVER hold another banquet in our life!!!�� LOL, sure, whoelse will we get married to?? We are both very loyal: we have not changed our job since graduation!!! And we are loyal to each other!! |
| OUR HOPES We are very happy everyday, though sometimes we do argue!!. We are very sure that we will enjoy our whole life being together. Whenever we see old couples holding hands on the street, we admire them so much!! We believe that we will still hold each other��s hand firm in our future even when we are very old. We would like to have a baby girl in our near future. We have already thought of her name. The Chinese name has been confirmed. I have a rough idea of her English name too. In fact, her name has been confirmed 10 years ago. Her name won��t be announced here until she is born. So, if you want to know about her name and her, help us pray that we will have her very soon!! |
