Damien is a Kuroi Tenshi (Black Angel). A black angel is mainly an angel of death. Yet Damien ususally prefers not to kill. But Damien will do anything for Tawney, he's actually very caring and at times overprotective.
Damien was given to Tawney when she was 3, by her mother. He prefers to conceal himself in the 6-pointed star on Tawney's charm bracelet. The fact that he's wingless never bothered him, he came from Hell but was transfered to the Pugatory. That's how Lilith was able to give him to Tawney.
When combined with Angel and Tawney's guitar, they create The Gothic guitar. When all three of the ghosts are combined, along with Tawney's guitar and her Beretta they create an FN P90 . It's Tawney's very own double medium technique.
