Handsome, charming, and sophisticated with a good heart, Kaiser holds the rank of Major. A skilled warrior, Kaiser is one of the top Amaranth Guards of Archangel Military Academy.
Kaiser, in truth, is the Black Prince of the Earth Vampires.

Being a very rare pure-blood Vampire, Kaiser is on the closest level with his mentor, Ezra.

Personality:
Kaiser appears to have a laid-back and cool demeanor. When off-duty, he is surprisingly clumsy. His shares Ezra's somewhat cynical and sarcastic sense of humor only is slightly more deadpan and fatalistic.
Kaiser is highly respected among the students of Archangel Military Academy and, because of his relation to Ezra, is feared in the unseen worlds.
His students often affectionately call him "Dad" or "Daddyo" because of the warm and paternal air he exhibits, with Gabrielle the only one calling him "Daddy".
Ezra:
The relationship Kaiser has with his mentor is difficult to understand. They are obviously very close and attached to each other. When off duty, the duo are almost always together.
The fun side they share involves a brother-sister, and semi-antagonistic relationship. They are known for their volatile arguments, where they screech over each other, ending simultaneously with a loud insult. A few seconds of silence follows before they exchange smiles and words of affection, to the laughter of anyone watching. Also, they seem to enjoy humiliating each other, with Kaiser almost always commenting on her laziness and childish behavior, while Ezra takes it to a more personal level by commenting on Kaiser's sexual orientation and drinking habits (even thought Kaiser could never, technically, get drunk). Despite that, they would never intentionally hurt each other.
She and Kaiser met over eight hundred years ago in Belfast, Ireland.
Gabrielle:
Kaiser maintains a very close relationship with his adopted daughter, Gabrielle. In their free time, they enjoy traveling all over the world via Porta-Portal. They both share a very strong sense of trust. Although he only shows it when they're alone, Kaiser loves his adopted daughter very much and, apart from Archer, considers her his only family. It is also stated by Ezra that Gabrielle is one of the very few people that can put a real smile on his face.
Kaiser is very protective of both Gabrielle's physical and mental well-being. It is explained in the chapter, A Trip to the Clinic, that Kaiser first became aware of Gabrielle's depression when she told him she might die alone. Kaiser realized that this might be true because he cannot die and she still possesses a human lifespan. Knowing there was nothing he could do about that, he switched his focus to ensuring her happiness. He has also personally promised that he would be right there with her when she dies.
Kaiser is often humorously portrayed as the stereotypical overprotective father. He obviously dislikes and is suspicious of Daniel, but only because he is aware of Gabrielle's feelings for him and of the fact that he is capable of severely hurting her and adding to her depression.
