MY DREAM OF ARES

“You know, I’ve had it with Miss goodie tissue.” Ares growled, watching Gabrielle and Xena return the vase of Purity to the village priests.

“Ever since she followed Xena out of Potidaea she’s been a thorn in my side.”

“Ummmm…I suggest you ease up a little on that one brother.  She is Artemis’ chosen.  AND, just in case you haven’t noticed your war goddess has a thing for her best friend.  If weird things start happening to her your warrior princess won’t be happy and nor will a few of the gods on Olympus either.”

“All I need to do is just detain her for a little bit.  Then I can have the furies to do their little sanity spell again and Xena will be mine.”

“hmmmm…I don’t know about that Ares.  Even in her insane state there was something in Gabrielle’s voice that always managed to touch something in Xena.  You saw it for yourself.”

“No…” Aphrodite cooed, moving over to the opposite side of the viewing well to observe the bard from a different angle.

“There is something special about her and if you are to conquer her you will need to know exactly what that is.”

“Xena loves her,” Aphrodite said. Raising her head to stare into her brothers firing eyes.  “Tread carefully brother.  She has the smile of a goddess and the desire of a titan.  How else could she steal the heart of a woman you’ve been mad about for years without so much as a sneeze.”

“Desire of a titan huh?  Well maybe I’ll just visit her dreams and see just how potent her desires are.”  Ares announced as an evil gleam in his eye sparkled and his fingers mindlessly toyed with his beard.

Campsite…

“Good night Xena,” Gabrielle said giving the warrior a smile and rolling over to her side to go to sleep.

“Night Gabrielle.”  The bard yawned and closed her eyes.  As usual her mind began to drift. Visions of her in floating over ice capped mountains, busy villages, children playing and breath taking meadows flowed through her thoughts.  Rapid eye movement was starting to set in.

The bard inhaled deeply and allowed the visions take her further into the world of ease.  Finally her ascend halted and lowered her down in front of a soothing waterfall.  It was a place fit for the gods.  The birds were chirping.  The sound of the falling waters was refreshing relaxing.  The squirrels, rabbits and beavers busied themselves with taking cool drinks and the breeze was gentle and sweet.  The bard couldn’t think of a more fitting place to be.

Suddenly across the lake she saw an image.  It was Ares.  “By the gods what is he doing here?”  The bard thought.  Taking in the entire vision.  He was standing in waist deep water observing the waters.  Quickly his hands submerged beneath the surface and seized its prey.  As he lifted his hands from the waters he chuckled with triumph.  The fish struggled to get free, but that wasn’t what the god of war had in mind.

Gabrielle watched as the waters cascaded down his mighty arms unto his manly chest and down over his tight stomach.  “Hmmmm,” The bard hummed.  He does look extraordinarily sexily.  Well built arms, mighty chest and powerful features.  I wonder…” She whispered while deciding to get a closer look.

“Ares,” she called to him.

The eminent figure stepped out of the waters with nothing more than a skin to cover his front dimensions.  Gracious Artemis he was fine.

“What are you doing in my dream?”  Gabrielle asked trying to stifle her sudden desires to really take on the god of war.

“I come here often.” He returned with a benevolent glint in his eyes.  With a wave of his hand a contained fire rose.  Instantly developing a cozy little campsite.

“Why don’t you join me.”  He suggested while placing his hands upon his hips and flexing nearly every muscle in his body.

(Oh yeah...Oh, that’s nice) the bard thought. “Well, the fish over the fire do look tasty.” Gabrielle retorted, glancing over at his catch.  But she really wasn’t interested in trying out the fish.  She was wondering if all the stories about the war god being a mighty lover were true.

“I guess I can sit a spell.”

Candlemarks passed and as strange as it seems Gabrielle was really enjoying Ares. He was charming, courteous, witty and oh so sexy.  The bard thought it was time that she changed the subject a little bit.  So far the only thing they had talked about was the thing they both loved the most...Xena.

“So Ares…tell me.  Are the rumors true.”

“True…what rumors.”

“You know…the ones where the women talk of you being a fantastic lover.”

Ares lowered his head and snorted.  Gabrielle believed it to be a blush.  “I’ve had sex with a many women…virgins, women of less virtue, married women and even other goddesses.  But…” he said turning to gaze over at the bard.  “I’ve never been with a woman like you Gabrielle.  What is it about you that humbles a person’s soul.  What is it about you that can persuade the most cunning and vicious of all warlord’s to discard her life of power and trade it all…just to be you.  What is it about you that make others wonder what it would be like to…to love you?”  Ares asked in a husky whisper.

Currents of simmering lust surged through the bard’s body.  She’d dreamed of someday loving others, but never Ares.  He was arrogant, full of him self and irritating as hell.  Yet…as the bard stared into his wayward eyes all of those things seemed irrelevant at the moment.  All she wanted was to fill the caress of his mighty hands as they possessed her body and made him hers.

“Why don’t you come and see?” She heard herself say.

Ares felt his breath still.  It wasn’t so much as what she said but…how she said it.  The bard’s voice rumbled dangerously.  Almost as if daring him to explore.  (Psssst…it was true that he was a god.  But now he understood what it was about the bard that made others weak.  It was the fire of passion that blazed behind those beautiful emerald eyes of hers.  It was how she spoke and everything she said.  The world could call him weak, but there wasn’t anything in Greece that would keep him from sampling the bard tonight.

With another wave of his hand the camp scene changed again.  Gabrielle found herself lying leisurely upon the largest Canopy bed she’d ever seen, draped in satin black curtains.  The sounds of the night, echoed across the gentle ripples of the lake. Creating an evil séance for love.  (Ooh, can we say...bring it to me ba-BAY?)

Gabrielle laid back and allowed the darkness to claim her along...with the God of war.  Soothing fingers slid up the bard’s arm and down over her collarbone.  Graceful as a chilling breeze she felt Ares’ lips grazed across her bosom while allowing his callus hands to float lower.  Her body trembled from his touch.  Hands of a gentle lover he had.  And the bard was determined to have her fill of him.  (A lover with slow hands...my, my, my.)

One whisper from the god’s lips and the bard’s clothes slid from her body…as did his.  Gabrielle moaned and arched her back.  She couldn’t wait.  She had to feel him touch her.

“Pleasssse.” She whispered.

Ares released a lingering growl while dipping in and tenderly claiming the bard’s parched lips.  Gabrielle moaned again as their lingua’s skim, caressed and coiled around each other’s.  “Oh gods,” she panted as she sensually curled her arms around the god’s waist and pulled him down atop of her.  As if second nature her legs slid open, revealing the silkiness that his rising would find comfort in later.

Ares rolled his hips. Stirring his manhood slowly over the bard’s throbbing love knob.  It was Gabrielle’s time to growl.  She never felt anything so heavenly or electrifying.  She welcomed the god’s leisurely grind by rocking her drenched capital up and down his pulsating shaft.

The kisses became more urgent.  But Ares wasn’t ready to call it a night, he wanted to taste the bard’s scented essence first.  With the moves of a stalking panther he kissed his way southward...slow and mesmerizing.  Sending chills of pleasure all up and down the bard’s body. (Can we say take your time...war god?)

In seconds he was where he wanted to be.  Right over the bard’s center.  Nice and gentle he slid his tongue down into her moistened folds.  Sampling her goodness.  The bard arched her back and brought her hips about. Rocking her silkiness up and down his wet texture member.  “Sweet Artemis,” she purred.  Allowing the god’s caressing hands and tongue to pleasure her in ways she’d never imagined.

Ares was absolutely amazed by the bard’s sensual prowess.  Her body was soft, limber and warm.  Slithering and swooning like that of a hypnotized cobra.  Just the idea of touching her made his body crave her even more.

He continued to pleasure the bard with his mouth until neither of them could stand it any longer.  Rising unto his knees he pulled her gently to him.  Sliding his member patiently down into her warm tight crevice.  His body jerked from the heated move.  Their moans of urgency sifted out into the darkness as their bodies did what was natural.

The bard arched in her back again while bringing her folded arms down around to the back of her neck.  Angling her body in a powerful position while stretching her legs wider.  Ares growled and allowed his head to drift back.  Prompting his body to move in accordance with the bard’s growing need.  In and out he sunk his plank.  Filling the bard over and over again with his massive...throbbing growth.

Whimpers of appreciation seeped through the bard’s lips as her hips rolled in a circular motion.  Swirling her drenched center around, down and over Ares well-oiled manhood.  Ares eyes slammed shut as the bard’s love canal flexed and relaxed commanding his ultimate surrender and summoning his approaching release.

Like a folding flower the bard bent at the waist and wrapped around the war god like a shaw.  Ares squealed as the bard unexpected weight forced him down backwards onto the bed.  From that moment on Ares knew that he controlled nothing and certainly not the bard’s unchained passion. (I thank it’s on for the war god.)

Gabrielle stared wildly into the god’s eyes and dropped her hips down into a take him hump...fast and hard.  Ares breath caught and his body went rigid.  He’d never seen such a hunger.   Gabrielle was rolling and thrusting her hips about as if she was a woman possessed.  Ares couldn’t keep from squealing out in fright.  What happened to the peaceful loving bard?  (Well, I can’t worry about that now) Ares thought.  (I have a woman to please. After all, I do have a reputation to protect.)  It wasn’t much longer after that, that they both released shouting their fulfillment to all the elements of the earth.

“By the gods,” Ares panted while helping the bard down off of him.  “Now I see why you and Xena are so close.”  The god then looked over at the bard with unfocused eyes and asked her the one question that many

have dreamed of asking.  “Are you and Xena lovers?”

“Why Ares,” the bard purred rolling from the bed.  “I thought you were a god.”  With that said the bard vanished.  Leaving the god winded and even more confused.

“Gabrielle...Gabrielle,” Xena shouted.  Attempting to wake her friend from her dream. “Gabrielle, wake up...NOW! The bard’s eyes slid open and stared into her partner’s worried gaze.

“What’s wrong...are you alright?” Gabrielle inquired blindly running her hands over Xena’s body.

“I’m fine.” Xena huffed rolling to her side and punching her home made pillow.

“Just try to keep your whimpers of passion down a little.  You’re screaming so loud, that I...I can’t get any sleep.”

“Sleep huh?” the bard questioned.  Sliding up behind Xena and wrapping her arm around her waist.

“Even I know that you’re up and down all night.  You hardly ever sleep.  You were probably listening.”

“I was not.” Xena snapped.  Glancing over her shoulder.

“Don’t worry Xena.” The bard said yawning.  “No dream is going to come between us.”

Back on Olympus...

“You are right little one,” Ares said with a smile, “not even a dream is going to separate you.  And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“Aw...that’s sweet,” Aphrodite whirred sauntering over to her brother and staring into the well at the pair.

“Does this mean you are going to leave them alone now.”

“Pssssst, get real.  I’ll never leave them alone but I will say this.  Now I know why Xena will give her life for that irritating little blonde.”  He said smiling and running his fingertips around the rim of his viewing bowl before disappearing.

“Well guys,” Aphrodite said staring down at the pair and giggling mischievously, “I guess I’ll be seeing you around then.” With that said the goddess of love popped her fingers and mimicked her brother’s abrupt departure.  Wondering when will Ares’ next steamy dreams take place.

Okay ladies, this is my first attempt at Ares and Gabrielle fiction.  B kind now...I personally prefer Joxer. I think he’s cute in a little lost boy sort of way.  I like to give thanks to The Man up top and the lovely web mistress, Gabs, for this opportunity.
