Aladdin and his pet monkey, Abu, were sitting on the rooftop looking down at the marketplace of Agrabah. It was then he met and saved a lovely young girl there. The woman explained that she was running away from her father, who was forcing her to get married.

| Suddenly palace guards appeared and arrested Aladdin. The young woman demanded Aladdin to be freed, and the palace guards realized that she was the Sultan’s daughter, Princess Jasmine. Guards explained that it was Jafar, the Sultan’s adviser that ordered the capture. | ![]() |

In the dungeon, disguised Jafar freed Aladdin to the condition that he would enter the cave of Wonders and bring him the lamp but he mustn't touch anything else. In the cave, Aladdin and Abu met a magic carpet that led them to the lamp. Just when Aladdin took the lamp, Abu touched a golden statuette. The cave was submerging quickly. |
| Aladdin and Abu jumped on the magic carpet and made it to the exit. But before Aladdin could give Jafar the lamp he fell into the cave that sunk into the sand. | ![]() |

Aladdin examined the lamp and rubbed it to get a better look. When they were out of the ground, the genie granted him his first wish; to be a Prince so he could marry Princess Jasmine. |
Angry that he didn't get the lamp, Jafar hatched another evil plan. He hypnotized the Sultan with his sceptre and ordered him to force Jasmine to marry him so that he could be the sultan.

| That night, Aladdin went to see Jasmine at her balcony and invited her to go on a carpet ride. When they got back, Jasmine recognized Aladdin was the boy she met at the marketplace. |
