Camp Cameron Highlands was the best camp I've ever attended. It's organised by FES and open to all local university students. As the name showed, it's held in Cameron Highlands at the end of the year i.e. during the long semester break and the duration of the camp about 1 month.
The students that attended were from year 1 to 4 and from all over Malaysia.
I attended the camp during my 2nd year of study.
Camp speakers are mostly FES full time workers, some local and some international. During my time we had speakers from Japan, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
We studied everything under the sun and beyond, regarding Christianity. That was my serious "turning point" in life.
One thing interesting about there was, no tv, radio, newspaper or phone, so it's like in the monastry for a month!
Initially everyone sort of not used to it but as the fellowship grew, at the end of the camp, nobody seemed to want to go home! Lots of sentiments .......
