Bought this Fender Squier Strat Affinity Series Metallic Blue Colour Guitar in March 2009 for my 40th. Birthday Present, as my second electric guitar that I can use for "rough" usage, where I can bring for practices or mission trips ....... or just for home practices.
For long I've wanted a Maple Fretboard Guitar, so this one just fit in nicely and cheap too.
This unit is Crafted In China.
It has Alder Body, Maple Neck and 60's Large Fender Headstock, 3 single-coil pickups and a Tremolo Bar.
Good for clean sound especially it has that famous Fender Strat tone.
I was given the opportunity to try out for 2 weeks on stage.
Didn't like the tone at all, too sharp and difficult to control especially when it has only one Bridge Humbucker Pickup.
Besides that, I got a good "lecture" from my wife too, sarcastically asking me how old am I to use that on stage ....... :P (already 40 years old as at year 2009).
