Bought this Yamaha Bass Guitar RBX375 in November 2008 from Yamaha Singapore during their Year End Sales with 20% discount.
This is a 5 string Bass, Black in colour and comes installed with 2 Active Yamaha Humbucker Pickups powered by a 9V Battery.
It has 4 knobs for Volume, Pan, Bass and Treble.
Bass was my first instrument that I played in Johor Bahru Church.
But it was one of my last instrument that I bought for myself.
Seems like I still lack of a drum (maybe will get an electronic drum) in order to complete a full band instrument at my home! Ha!Ha!Ha!
I still remember the first time playing in church during the early 90s.
The leaders and pastor had a meeting after that to determine whether my playing was appropriate for church music!
You know those days ....... famous for its 50s and 60s kinda rock, blues and jazz bass grooves! Ha!Ha!Ha!
But later they said ok to it because it kinda gave "life and flavour" to the music.
Thank God too because later I could introduce many other instruments to the church ....... they only had acoustic guitar and bongo when I started playing the bass guitar.
So what made me bought this bass?
Well, the current church that I'm serving in lacks of committed bassist.
So got to stand-in a couple of times ....... but can't bear to play the lousy, cheap and creepy sounding bass guitar in church, so got myself one reasonably good unit to go about this "temporary" shortage.
Oh boy! I am surely one "spoilt" grown up man when come to music! Ha!Ha!Ha!
But anyway, it sounded good through the church's Meyer Sound System!
