In the last few days, Americans have been wearing, displaying, and flying the US flag. There have been a huge demand for US flags, resulting in shortages. Even on the Internet, some web sites have shut down their servers, due to the unprecedented demand for images of the flag. To commemorate this tragic event, I have incorporated the events of that day with the US flag. For my 3-D friends, I have also rendered 3-D versions.
Ebay has cancelled any World Trade Center related items for the next two weeks. There have been reports of people taking advantage of the situation and trying to sell WTC related items for exorbitant prices. Many people want to have something related to the event, to help with the grieving and to remind them of what was taken away from them. Creating the above images is my way of dealing with the tragic event. I do not profit from it in any way except spiritually.
The tragic events that have unfolded has spurred Americans to unfold and proudly display the symbol that no terrorist can destroy.
