| Put on your 3-D glasses, because your going to see some 3-D, or lack of 3-D! Judging stereoscopic depth in 3-D images is usually thought of as a very reliable method of depth perception. Here is an example where stereoscopic depth cues fails us miserably. In the anaglyph image above, the nails getting hammered down, will appear at a different depth relative to the bottom nails. Funny thing is, once the nails are hammered down, they all appear to be at the same depth!
