 Those of you who really know me will not be surprised by this page of my web site. While its not something I shout from the rooftops, or something I even say often enough, I am a Christian.
 I offer no apology for this, just as I never try to shove my beliefs on anyone in person. I dont demand that you read this page, but only pray that you will do so.

 I wish I could profess to be the best Christian I know how to be, but that wouldnt true. Im far from where I should be in my walk with the Lord; but I know that He knows my heart. He knows that I thank Him daily for the many things He has made possible in my life.
 I dont understand how people can say there is no God. How can one look at the world, at the universe, and doubt His existence? I see His touch in the flowers that bloom in the spring. I hear His voice in a newborn babys cry. I see His love in beautiful clouds, in sparkling still waters of lakes, in rainbows at the edges of storms, and in the infinite, breathtaking display of stars. Thus, I could never doubt His existence.

 Im here on this earth today, when so many of my friends and family are gone by His grace. I have a beautiful daughter and loving friends. I have overcome great health problems. I see all these blessings as signs of His mercy.
 To Him goes the glory and my humble thanks for all that I am, and all that I shall yet be, that is good in my life. I strive daily to do what He wants of me; and though I often fail in those efforts, He always forgives my failings and never once has failed me.

When I say, I am a Christian
When I say, I am a Christian,
Im not shouting, I am saved;
I'm whispering I was lost!
That is why I chose this way."
When I say, I am a Christian,
I dont speak of this with pride;
Im confessing that I stumble,
And need someone to be my guide.
When I say, I am a Christian,
Im not trying to be strong;
Im professing that Im weak,
And pray for strength to carry on.
When I say, I am a Christian,
Im not bragging of success;
Im admitting I have failed,
And cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say, I am a Christian,
Im not claiming to be perfect;
My flaws are too visible,
But God believes Im worth it.
When I say, I am a Christian,
I still feel the sting of pain;
I have my share of heartaches,
Which is why I seek His name.
When I say, I am a Christian,
I have no authority,
