Gabe and Muff have known each other since High School; they met in 1994 when she was working in a new underground record store in Newton, CD's R' Us (now defunct, it was also the original homebase of Squigtone Records), and hit various local Punk shows (as well as other bar functions) quite frequently during the years of 1995-2002. The owner of the store would recruit Muff in 1996 and Gabe in 1998 to play for a local Skinhead Rockabilly band called the Outsiders. This band later broke up in 2001, and Muff didn't touch her drums for two years until Gabe, upon returning to Sussex County from Nashville for a spell and wishing to re-form his old NJ backup band, called her with the request that she play drums for him. A practice was set up, and although she figured three songs right off the bat that she'd never tried before (after two years of not playing the drums AT ALL, remember), she kept apologizing to Gabe and Coe for "screwing up". Needless to say, she was an instant keeper and Gabe and the boys are proud to have her in the ranks.
