After a good 4 hours later Gabben Gardner woke up without any pain. He slowly sat up and looked around. He felt a little dizzy but other then that he felt great. His eyes landed on a man about his age sitting in a chair next to him. The man had light brown hair, brown eyes, and a warm smile on his lips. In his hand was a news paper that read �War in Swedish forest. King�s son killed in battle.� The man looked over the paper and smiled at Gabben.
�Well hello there. How are you feel Mr. Gardner?�
Gabben looked confused but he slowly started to remember. A flash of light, death eaters on the ground, blood all over his hands. Tasting grass in his mouth as he fell to the ground. He sighed, Gabben seemed to be always getting hurt, and this spell could have killed him. He opened up his shirt and looked at his chest. All he saw was a tattoo he got in his last year at Hogwarts with Doug. A lion that could move around his chest. The lion looked up at him and winked then it lay down and went to sleep.
�Ummm fine I guess, who are you?�
�Oh how rude of me. I�m the man who saved your life. But you may call me James. James McNeven.� James held his hand out to Gabben and Gabben slowly took it.
�Thank you...� Gabben's eyes then went to James�s robes. He was wearing war robes but on the shoulder was a S.A.M healers crest and a #3. Gabben saw that this man was higher in rank. He sat up a bit more.
�Oh no need to get all proper.� He must have seen Gabben looking at his robes. He pulled out a letter and handed it to Gabben. Just as Gabben started to open it Doug ran in panting.
�Gabben your up! Thank my great aunt Helen!�
�You don�t have a great aunt Helen.� Gabben said laughing a little as Doug gave him a big hug.
�Well if I did then I would thank her. Did you hear the news mate?�
�No? What?�
Doug then turned to James. James just sat there and smiled. Doug gave him a look that said �Give him the later!� But James only pointed to the letter in Gabben's right hand.
�He has not read his letter yet Douglas. Why don�t you go run around Sweden and then come back and sit down with us.� Gabben had to laugh at that. Doug was very hyper at the moment. Gabben pulled open the letter and smiled.
�Leader 3�s.�
�And it was well earned. You two must report to HQ in 2 hours. There they will give you your men and your new robes. After that you two will go to the forest near Hogwarts. I understand you two went to Hogwarts?� James said.
�Yes we did... but why Hogwarts?� Gabben asked looking confused.
�I forgot you haven�t heard. A few death eaters stayed at the camp and went to attack Hogwarts. They are to attack in 9 hours. They plan to use a bunch of spell�s that we have never heard of. We have no way to protect our self's. Only you, Douglas, William and a few men can stop them.�
�But why us?� Doug asked looking just as confused as Gabben now.
�Because the only spells that can stop them are striker spells... and they asked for Gabben. Send Gardner or we will kill every child and teacher in the school at mid night.�
�Can�t we just go in and floo the kids out?� Doug asked.
�We�ve tried, but it�s blocked...�
Gabben heard the conversation but wasn�t paying any attention. Ashley was at Hogwarts. And why were they asking for him? His mind started to slowly listen to the conversation around him again.
�Only 10 men?! And you want us to sacrifice them as a diversion and find a way to get the kids and teachers out! Your mad! I wont do it!� Doug was now yelling at James. James just sat back and looked at Doug as if they were having a normal conversation over coffee.
�Will do it.� It wasn�t Doug or Gabben who said this but William. He walked into the tent wearing his new leader #3 robes. Doug turned to William to stay something but William held up his hand.
�I will not let those children get hurt by those dragon dung bit- sorry. What do you say Gabben?�
Gabben didn�t know William that well but William was right. Gabben couldn�t let innocent people get hurt. It was why Gabben became apart of S.A.M in the first place. He stood up from the bed and pulled on his robes.
�William is right... I think I know a way this might work...� Doug looked at Gabben with a look of shock but he slowly nodded and pulled his robes on as well.
�Good luck you three.� James stood up and nodded at them then walked with them out of the camp. At the edge of the camp Gabben told them his plan. At the end Doug, and William looked at him with opened mouths. James smiled and nodded.
�Hmmm odd but in this plan you could get you killed.� James said.
�One life for hundreds? It will work though. Doug and I have been in worse spots then that in our first year at Hogwarts. And you have seen my skills. Could anyone else pull this off?� James rubbed his chin and nodded.
�You are right... they most likely left the weaker death eaters at the camp anyway. They have no idea we even know that they are anywhere near Hogwarts. Go...�
The three nodded and then tapped their wands to their head in a salute. Three men ran over and handed them each a broom. The three got on and in seconds they were out of sight.
A few hours later Gabben, William and Doug landed at the edge of the forest next to Hogwarts. William took the brooms and hid them under some bushes. The three pulled up they�re hoods and walked into the forest, wands out.
�Gabben... are you sure this will work?� Doug asked looking worried at Gabben, William looked the same. Gabben said nothing as they kept walking. Gabben knew it would work, it had to he thought.
�Gabben... we can find another way...� William said. Gabben turned and looked into Williams eyes. He had not known him that long but he could see fear in his eyes. It touched Gabben that he was worried and even scared for him.
�I know what I�m doing...� They did not talk for another hour. Doug hid behind a bush at the edge of a clearing. In the clearing were a few tents and a large fire in the middle. At the very edge stood William with Gabben. Gabben's hands were tied up and William was holding his wand. William gave Gabben another look but Gabben only nodded.
Out of one of the tents a death eater came out. His hood was down and his wand was out. He walked slowly over to William and Gabben. Three other death eaters were walking behind the lead death eater. Gabben guessed that this was the leader of the camp. The death eater stopped in front of Gabben and William. He pulled his hood down and smiled. Back in the bushes Doug�s mouth hung open in shock.
