Now this will not be a happy story. If you think I�m lying or pulling your leg just read the title� read it� ok now that, that is done I�m am here to tell you about Gabben Gardner. Well let�s get started shall we?
A man sat at the top of a hill looking out over the land but not really looking at anything. He was deep in his thoughts. He had thick dark blonde hair that was a little curled in odd spots. He had deep bluish green eyes and was about 6�1 when he was standing up. He had the look of someone who had seen to many horrible things in a short amount of time. Gabben Gardner ran a hand threw his messy hair looking out over the land to a castle. In a few short hours he would be a partner with Zach Dura a Leader #3 of The Swedish Army of Magic. He had come very far in life. Gabben and his best friend Douglas Brown were some of the youngest to become trainees. But all Gabben wanted to do was go back home. He missed his old friends Faith, Krel, Chris, and Ashley.
�You never know what you have got till it�s gone� ha it�s true�� Gabben whispered to himself. His friends were really the last family he had, and he hated lying to them. You see he could not tell anyone that he was in training. The Swedish Army of Magic was hardly ever used and people knew that when they were bad things happened.
A large bell sounded off behind Gabben. Gabben turned to see a large castle. The place where he would be from time to time in training. That bell meant that it was time for Gabben to head back up there and work on some new spells. He slowly got up and walked off. But turned and had one last look in the direction of where his home was.
�Brighker!� A spell went threw the room and hit a man in a padded suit. You could hear the man yell then fall. 2 wizards ran over to him. They pulled the mans right arm out of the suit, it looked broken. The 2 wizards (or better known as healers.) healed the arm.
�Very nicely done Dagonet! Next?� A man yelled on a platform. This man was Master Bore�s. A big man with a hardened looking face. Now Dagonet got in the padded suit and a man with thick blonde hair walked up. He looked a lot like Gabben but this man had brown eyes. This was Douglas Brown, Gabben�s oldest and best friend.
�Ready?� Master Bore�s asked Doug then Dagonet. They nodded and Doug lifted up his wand.
�Brighker!� The spell flew threw the room and made Dagonet fall over. Dagonet got up and said in his deep voice.
�Nothin broke.� Master Bore�s growled at Doug.
�Back of the line Douglas!� Doug went to the back of the line to where Master Bore�s was on his platform. Master Bore�s picked up a wooden poll and walked over to Doug.
�Bend down!�
He pulled the poll back ready to hit Doug. But someone behind Master Bore�s was holding the poll back.
�No. You will not hit them.� A man with dark black hair said. He looked to be a leader#3. He had a strong frame, thick eye brows, and a stern looking face. This was Zach Dura, and he was a Leader#3.
�But Leader Dura!� Started Bore�s in anger but one look from Zach made Bore�s fall back in fear.
�I said No�� Zach let go of the poll and looked at the others training.
�You are missing one� Where is Gardner?� Zach turned back to Bore�s. Bore�s stood taller and said.
�He has been missing classes. He thinks that his time is more important.� Bores smirked.
�Hmmm� he is a smart one then.� Said Zach as he started to walk away. Bore�s stood there red with anger.
�Well what are ya lookin at! Get to work!� Bore�s yelled at the trainees. They all jumped up and got back to working on spells.
Zach walked down the S.A.M training halls with a frown. Zach was about 26 years old but he looked older. He looked like a man who had seen many terrible things in a short amount of time. Zach was the only child of the magical king of Sweden. He had no real love for his father for he never really knew him. His mother died when he was very young. He held a bit of bitterness towards her for leaving him all alone. But as a Leader #3 he had no feelings. There was only work, no time for feelings.
This was why Zach was looking for the young Gardner. The Leader #1 or better known as King Dura sent a letter to Zach telling him of a problem happening in the Swedish Mountains. His father asked Zach to take Gabben with him as his partner. He was to train him as best he could. Zach had never had a partner before and he was not that happy about it. All he knew was that his father saw Gabben as some great power. Zach on the other hand saw Gabben as a young boy with no power at all.
