Down deep in the under ground of Hogwarts to people were talking in a dark corner. They both had there hoods up. One was short and had on a Slytherin Hogwarts robes on. The other was talk and had dark robes of pure black. The taller man pinned the shorter man to the wall.
�What is taking so long Gabriel!? You should have been done by now!� The taller man said moving a hand to the one called Gabriel�s neck.
�It�s taking longer then I thought. He�s not like any normal wizard.� Gabriel started to gasp for air.
�Just�give me some�Ti�ti�time!� Gabriel started trying to take the other mans hand on his neck.
�Time! I have given you more then enough TIME!� Lets Gabriel go.
�He�ll have his guard down during Christmas holiday�� Gabriel says trying got gasp in air.
�He better be dead or you know what will happen to you Gabriel Gardner, The master is already very upset with you�� The man said walking away.
�Yes sir�� Gabriel said rubbing his neck making his hood fall down showing his blonde hair and dark gray eyes.

�Gabben! How much longer?!� Doug was saying sitting in the air plane looking out the window. Alyssa was sound asleep on the other side of Gabben. Gabben just laughed at Doug.
�Watch the movie Doug, it�ll be another hour.� Gabben was starting to close his getting ready for a nap.
�Must you always take a nap Gabben Gardner?� Gabben jumped up seeing Krel and Ashley looking over the back of his chair with small smirks on there faces.
�I thought you 2 were-�
�We were bushy head.� Ashley said rubbing his head.
�We lied, thought it would be a nice gift to surprise you.� Krel said with a little yawn.
�How much longer till were there Gabben?� Krel asked rubbing her eyes. It looked like they were taking a nap.
�Ha when we get there.� He said starting to fall back asleep but before he could he felt a hard slap on his head.
�Hey! What was that for?!� Gabben looked around to see who hit him. Everyone just smirked and looked away.
�I see it! I see it!� Doug said jumping up and down in his chair.
�Shut it Brown.� Gabriel Gardner Gabbens cousin walked up to them with a small sneer.
�And I thought we would have a Happy Christmas this year. How are you Gabriel?� Doug said with a growl. Gabben just sat back not wanting to get in the fight.
�Don�t talk to me Brown!�
�I can if I want Gabriel�� Doug said saying his name in a sing song voice.
�Don�t call me that Douglas!� Everyone knew how Gabriel would rather be called Gabe, but Doug made sure everyone called him Gabriel. Gabe lifted up a fist to punch him.
�Please sit down while we land. Thank you.� A warm voice said over there heads.
They walked up to the big wooden doors of the Gardner estate. It was a small white castle with the Gardner crest and lion everywhere. Behind the castle the 6 could hear the ocean and saw some woods a little farther on where Gabben knew a small magical town was. It was the only magical town in all of Sweden.
As they walked up to the doors a small man was standing there waiting for them.
�Ah young Gabben, and Gabriel Gardner, oh my! You are no longer that young. You are almost men.� A man with a warm smile said. He had on a long black robe and short very thin brown hair.
�I am Father Peter, welcome guest from Hogwarts�� Father Peter said opening the doors showing them into the castle.
�Most of you know where your rooms are. Gabriel, may you show Alyssa where she will be staying?� Gabe growled and led her away as the others ran off to the rooms. Chapter 12
Gabben loved being back here. The Gardner estate was home to all the Gardner�s, but sadly none really lived there. It was a place to go on holiday now. Gabben smiled as he walked down a hall. He knew the kitchen was up the hall and a stair care leading to the bed rooms before that. Gabben walked down the hall looking at the old suits of armor. They either had the Gardner or Gryffindor crest on the shield.
Maybe someday I can wear armor like that� Gabben thought. And with a small smile he started to climb up the stairs to the bedrooms. Out side the estate looked like it was made from stone, but inside it looked like it was made from wood. The walls and floors were either a deep red or blue. As Gabben walked up the stairs he looked at all the old moving paintings of past Gardner family. His smile got bigger as the smiled and waved at him in welcome. After going all the way up the stairs he waved back at them with a warm smile.
�Such a nice boy always has been.� Gabben laughed to himself as he turned the corner to the sleeping rooms. He walked down the hall till he got to a big wooden door with the name
Gabben Gabriel Elijah Gardner
In dark blue letters. With a big smile Gabben opened the door and walked in. The second he walked in 2 arms went around him with a small yell of happiness. Before Gabben could see who jumped him a bunch of thick blonde hair went in his mouth from letting out a small gasp from the tight hug. Gabben spat out the hair and laughed.
�Gabbie!� Gabben said trying to pull her off. Gabriella Gardner or more known as �Gabbie� was Gabriel�s older sister. She had already left Hogwarts and was getting ready to be a healer. She had a warm caring smile that would make anyone feel warm with happiness. She had thick blonde lightly curled hair like most of the Gardner family, warm green eyes, and an athletic body. Gabben was still shocked she still had it. She was the old chaser for Hufflepuff. Gabben knew that boys had been going after Gabbie for years but none like Doug. As long as Gabben could remember Doug was a flirt but he always had his eyes on Gabbie.
�Gabben your back!� Another pair of arms went around him. Gabben looked down and saw a small boy of 8 years old with a warm smile and dark blue eyes look up at him. This was Gannon Gardner, Gabbie, and Gabriel�s youngest brother. Not yet at school he would stay with Father Peter while Gabbie, Gabriel, and Gabben would go off to school. Sadly Gabbie, Gabriel, and Gannon�s parents died the day Gannon turned one. Gannon always looked up to Gabben. Gabben always thought of Gannon as the baby brother he lost, and Gabbie as his older sister.
�Would you two let me breath! Haha.� Gabben said as they started pulling themselves off him.
�Sorry, how is school? Did your friends come with you this year? You missed St. Lucia day! Oh it was so beautiful-�She said, but the door opened again and Doug walked in cutting her off.
�Didn�t you ever learn to breath?� Doug said with a small laugh. Gannon ran up to Doug and hugged him laughing. Gabbie gave Doug a smirk.
�Well nice to see that you made it here�� She said turning to Doug. Gabben could never really tell if Gabbie liked Doug the way Doug liked her. She would always give him mean looks.
�Oh� my Angel Gabriella you will be mine�� Doug said putting Gannon down and getting on his knees in front of her.
�Ha no thank you Douglas� Happy Christmas and St. Lucia day.� She walked away with her nose in the air, but Gabben could have sworn he saw her wink at Doug before she left. Doug just smiled and at her as she left.
�Gabben? Hey Gannon!� Ashley and Krel walked in and ran to Gannon.
�Hey! Why do you run to Gannon and you just kick dirt at us?� Gabben said crossing his arms with a fake pout.
�It�s not his fault he�s cuter then you two will ever be.� Krel said with a laugh.
�Not even 10 and he�s a ladies man�� Doug said frowning at Gannon. Before anyone could say anything else Alyssa came in growling.
�I�m sorry Gabben but your cousin is a right git. He locked me in an old room.�
�If he locked you in there how did you get OUCH!� Before Gabben could finish she kicked him in the knee. Everyone but Gabben started laughing.
�Why must you all find it funny when I�m hurt?�
�Because it�s funny.� Doug said with a smirk. Before Gabben could retort and voice said from in the hall.
�Don�t let him get to you Gabben Elijah! It�s Christmas and I would like one week of fun.� Gabbie said with a tired voice.
�My darling are you still there?� Said Doug running out of the room to the hall.
That night Gabben and Doug had a snowball fight. In the end Ashley, Krel, and Alyssa seemed to be buried in snow while Gabben and Doug laughed at how they were trying to get out.
But up in a high window sat a boy watching the others. They all looked so happy and for some reason it made Gabriel sick. Gabriel liked to stay in his room alone. Gabben had tried when they were younger to pull him out to play but Gabriel would have nothing of it. After Gabbens 5th black eye from Gabriel he gave up.
Now Gabriel sat there watching them all laughing and playing. They all looked so happy. Why couldn�t he be happy?
Chapter 13: Part 1
Doug PoV:
Beep� beep�Beep!... BEEP! I rolled over hitting that little clock box thing Ash gave me. What was it called again? Oh well. I rolled over again to see Gannon by the door.
�What is it Gann man? � Gannon shuffled his feet then looked up with an evil smile.
�Gabbie�s mad at you�� He said in a sing song voice. Oh no� Not again what did I� wait? I�ve been good the past few days. I didn�t do anythi-
�Gannon what did you do?� I sat up with my eye brow raised. He started laughing as I heard feet running down the hall.
�DOUGLAS I AM GOING TO-�Gannon ran out of the room laughing.
�You! You wait right there you son of a troll!� I jumped out of bed pulling my robes on as I ran to the door after Gannon. But right as I got there BAM! The door to my room flew open and hit me in the face.
�Ahhh!� I fell back to the floor with a growl rubbing my nose.
�DOUGLAS BROWN!� Gabbie stomped into my room. She was holding an old toy in her hand. It looked like a stuffed puppy dog. It was a bright pink, and from the looks of it that�s not the color it was meant to be.
She threw the dog at me. It hit me right in the face. She folded her arms and started giving me a look like she could burn me to ash with her eyes. Ha she looked so cute when she was mad. Hmmm� the way her hair falls a little and-
�Well! Don�t you have anything to say! All of my things have turned that color!�
�Huh? Oh that wasn�t me. I would have picked a better color then pink.� Ha that did it. She growled as her face started turning red.
�If it was not you then who would have done this to all of my stuff! I know it was you! I'm going to-� Gabbie said threw gritted teeth. Wow she looked ticked. Gannon can be a pretty smart boy for his age.
�Gannon did it, he just-�But before I could finish what I was going to say my good old mate Gabben ran in.
�Doug Father Peter needs to see us.� Yes! Good old father Peter. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom to get dressed. 3 seconds later I was running past a yelling Gabbie with Gabben.
�Douglas Brown! You get back here right now!� She stood at the top of the stairs as Gabben and I ran down them.
�Ah� be right back mate.� I ran back up the stairs and kissed her cheek. She stood there stunned.
�Be back in a few minutes love.� Gave her a fast wink then ran off. She turned red with anger and pulled her hand back to hit me. Ah my cue. Gosh she looked hot mad. She always looks hot. Wish shed give me the time of day though. Hmm� I�ll have to ask Ash and Krel what I could do to get her to like me. I turned and jumped down the stairs before she could slap me. Blew her a kiss and ran down the hall after Gabben.
�Nice one Romeo. Ha she�s going to kill you at dinner. Why do you keep going after her?� Gabben asked while we ran. Gabben was the only one who could keep up with me when I ran. Back in the muggle world back home I was on a running team at school. Da da daaa� down the stairs out to the court yard� huh� what was Gabben's question? Oh yah! Hmm� Why do I keep going after her? Well she is beautiful. Fun to be around when she�s not pelting me with things, smart, funny, kind� Why wouldn�t anyone like her, she�s great!
�Cause, do I need a reason?� I smirked as I jumped over a low bush.
�Apparently not� Well you might want to watch you self. She might just give you a good kick for what you just did.�
�What did I do?� I turned to see Gabben give me his famous worried look. He worry�s too much. Bout big things� little things� He�s thinking too much. That�s it! He just needs to stop thinking, yah that�ll help him. We started to slow down as we got to the small church just over the hill next to the wizarding town behind the Gardner place. Gabben always said the town was small but it was more a wizarding city. It was huge! Somewhere in the middle of the town and the Gardner place was a forest. And in the middle of that forest was a small church. Ha that�s how Gabben and I first met. We were about 3 years old. Gabben wondered in and got lost in the woods. I went into the forest looking for a toy or something and got lost as well. We found each other and have been friend sense.
�So why dose he need to see us anyway?� I asked as the thought came to my mind. Gabben shrugged as we stopped at the doors.
�I don�t know. He just owled me asking for you and I to meet him down here as soon as we could. And you know him. That means RIGHT NOW!�
�So why were we just running?� Why were we just running? We had no reason.
�I was running cause you were running away from Gabbie... You can be a real blonde some...ok most of the time Doug�� He sighed and shook his head as we went inside the warm church to see Father Peter.
It was a small white church. It had a very loving and welcoming look to it. I loved being here. Wait� did Doug Brown just say he liked being in church! Ah well it�s true. I got to know Father Peter very well right after I turned 2 years old. My parents were just getting ready to take Communion. When I saw the crackers I yelled out in the middle of the prayer.
�Snack time!!!�
My parents felt the need that there 2 year old son needed to have talk with the Father of the church. Who could that Father be? That�s right Father Peter. He told me for a good 3 hours why I shouldn't have done what I did. Ha and for a 2 year old you can guess how that went. It�s oddly one of my oldest memories. Other then the first time I met Gabben. And they say I�m forgetful. Oh crackers!
�Doug! Come on we can eat latter.� Gabben said pulling my robes.
�And you don�t want to have that talk again do you Douglas?� I jumped as I saw Father Peter. He had a kind smile as he walked over to us.
�Well� A Brown and a Gardner� together again.� Another man walked over to us. He looked like a priest, or I think so? He had black robes on and some crest on the shoulders of his robes. I don�t think I knew him.
�My name is Father Michel. I am also apart of the Swedish Army of Magic. We have a lot to discuss�� Father Michel had an old look to him. He couldn�t be more then 40 but he looked like he had seen too much in a little bit of time. He�s with the Swedish Army of Magic? Great� what did I do now�?
Chapter 14
Still Doug�s PoV:
Army of Magic huh? Hmmm� Gabben and I have done some bad things but not enough to get us in trouble with S.A.M. By the looks of it Gabben was thinking the same way. He gave me a �What did we do this time� look. I shrugged and looked back at Father Peter and Father Michel.
�I have called you 2 here today to ask what you plan to do with your lives after school?� Father asked. He kept giving Gabben and I look as though he� no� that couldn�t be hate I see? Hmmm� What was the question? uhhhhh�. Oh yah! Well what was I going to do? This was my last year at Hogwarts. I had never really given it much thought. I guess I always thought I�d go with Gabben, or go help the twins with there joke shop.
�I haven�t given it much thought Father� I was thinking of maybe going into S.A.M like my Father, or be an auror like my grandfather.� Gabben said. Ha should have known. Gabben would want to help people. That�s why he was born. S.A.M? I had given it some thought. But not that much. Most people said that it was a job of a life time to be asked to be in the Swedish Army of Magic. The pay was well and you almost never went into war. The last war was when You-Know-Who was in power. And that was how long ago? Oh no math ummm� 4 carry the 5� no that�s not� ok a long time. Hmmm money� almost never working�
�Yah I was thinking of going into S.A.M.� Father Peter looked at me like I had a second head.
�Douglas you� I mean, that�s very brave of you��
�Thank you Father�� What! He thought I couldn�t do it? Well I�ll show Father Peter. I turned to Gabben and he gave me the same look as Father Peter, but turned when I looked at him. Dose everyone think I�ll fail?
�Well I am glad to hear that. I am here to ask you two if you would like to join, and by the sound of it you two do.� Father Michel smiled at us and pulled out two envelopes and handed one to Gabben the other to me. I looked at it. It said Douglas Brown in thick blue ink. I turned it over and saw a wax seal with a lion in the middle and the letters S.A.M. around the lion.
�Both of your Fathers were in S.A.M. They say it runs in the family.� Faith Peter said with a wink.
�Who are they?� I asked.
�Just forget it Doug� Thank you Father Michel, but if I may think about this?� Gabben asked. Yah thinking about this sounds good.
�Me too Father?�
�Oh yes, of course. Take your time. Send an owl to me with your decision. Good day.� Faith Michel bowed then left.
�Well you two have some thinking to do. But I suggest you think about The Swedish Army of Magic after the Christmas Ball.� Father Peter smiled and kissed Gabben and my forehead.
�Have you two gotten your masks yet?�
�Mask? What Mask?� Gabben and I asked together.
�Ha I guess not. Didn�t you get your� oh! I knew I was forgetting something.� Father Peter pulled out a paper and handed it to Gabben.
�98TH Christmas Ball blah blah blah� must wear mask and use spell for any other marks that will give you away. Blah blah�mask will fall away by magic at midnight� starts at 9pm tomorrow night! Why didn�t you tell us sooner Father!� Gabben said handing the paper to me. I don�t see why Gabbens freaking out. Wait�with a mask I could�
�I�m sorry Gabben Elijah but I thought you knew-�
�Well we better get those masks then.� I said cutting Father Peter off. With that I pulled the back of Gabbens jumper and ran into town.
�Ahhh please can I go!� Gannon said. He was hugging my leg as Gabben and I walked down the hall. Ashley, Alyssa and Krel were with us.
�So are you all going to the Ball tonight?� Gabben asked.
�Yah, it should be a �ball� haha.�
�Shut-it Doug.� Alyssa said with a light slap. Well I thought it was funny.
�Hmmm well we go EVERY YEAR what would make us stop this year?� Krel said rolling her eyes.
�Gannon you have to stay anyway� you don�t want to miss Tomte.� Alyssa said to Gannon he let go of me and sat down on the floor.
�Oh! I almost forgot!� With that Gannon jumped up and ran away.
�How do you know about tomte the Christmas gnome?� Gabben asked confused.
�Well when I heard I was going to Sweden for Christmas I thought I should read about your traditions.� She said with a smile. Alyssa could read? For something other then school? Whoa that�s a first!
�The tomte?... isn�t it that Santa thing?� Krel said watching Gannon run down the hall.
�It�s the Christmas gnome. Yah it�s like Santa but in a way it�s not� Well it doesn�t live in the North Pole. It lives under the floor boards. It looks to the family and livestock all year. He comes with presents depending on how good you are.� Gabben said.
�Haha! Don�t you have Santa at all?� Ashley asked laughing.
�Well because both our parents are part British we do have Father Christmas. So in a way we do.� I said with a shrug.
�Well we must go get ready for the ball. Girls�?� Krel said the three girls started giggling. Why is it that every other 20 minutes girls seem to giggle?
�But we have 4 hours till dinner, and the Ball isn�t till after dinner.� Gabben said looking at his watch.
�We have our reasons�� They said together walking away laughing.
�Girls�� I said walking back to the sitting room with Gabben.
Chapter 15
Gabben�s Pov:
Wow Christmas Eve night! I love Christmas, but I can�t help thinking about what Father Michel asked Doug and I. I would like to go into the Swedish Army of Magic. My father was in it, and I would be helping people. That why I was born right? The people in S.A.M say they have the job of a life time. Hmmm maybe I should think about this after the ball. Doug and I had been sitting in the sitting room for a good hour. Doug was like always fast asleep. I rolled my eyes and started to get up to maybe get a book or something when I heard foot steps. Someone slammed the doors open making Doug fall off his chair waking up. In walked� oh great� my dear Cousin Gabriel. He always had a sneer on his face with his blonde hair short but thick. He was wearing a coat, snow pants, a winter hat, and some stupid snow boots. They were � haha pink!
�Bloody ell what was that?� Doug said trying to get unstuck from under his robes.
�Shut-it Brown. I guess it�s true. You can�t find your way out of a bag, or what you call your robes. Maybe your get some new used ones this year from tomte or Father Christmas.� Gabriel started to laugh.
�Shut-it Gabriel. What do you want anyway?� I asked walking over to him.
�Ahhh that smell, goodness be Gabben Elijah when did you last take a bath? I thought you would for the ball.� Oh what I would give to hit my cousin. Why was he such a big git? What have I ever done to him anyway?
�Get out Gabriel!� Doug said pulling his head out of his robes.
�Shut up Brown. I guess it�s true though. Your eyes are brown because you�re full of-� But before Gabriel could finish Doug and I both ran at him. All I wanted to do was hit him. With a yell Gabriel took off at a run making the doors slam behind him.
�Ahhh that stupid, evil!� Doug was saying hitting the door. With a growl I pulled Doug away from the door before he broke it. Both Doug�s and my parents died when we were very young. Mine died when I was four, and Doug�s died just a little while after mine. Unlike my parents Doug mum and dad went very rich. He had some money but not a lot. Not matter how many times I would try, ask, and beg Doug wouldn�t take my money. It would always make him mad if any one said anything about it.
The door opened again but this time with out the slam. Father Peter walked in with his warm smile. He looked at me then at Doug and frowned when he saw Doug�s sad face.
�Douglas? What�s wrong?� Doug said nothing and walked of to the window. I walked over to Father Peter with a sad smile.
�Gabriel� he made fun of Doug again.� Father Peter Frowned a little then sighed.
�I should have known seeing Gabriel running down the stairs laughing. What am I going to do with him�?� Father Peter said, Doug turned and growled.
�You could always let me kick the-�
�Douglas Brown you should know better then to go fighting. And on a day like to day. Shame on you!� Father Peter said cutting Doug off.
�I�m sorry Father�� Doug said walking over to a seat sitting down with a plop. I sat down by the window getting lost in thought. Hmmm the ball� I wonder what my mask will be�
�Father what are this years masks?� I had been wondering this but never asked.
�Oh no one knows� but I think for the boys it is animals and girls are colurs. Don�t want boys dancing with boys.� He laughed lightly.
�But wouldn�t we know by voices?� I asked.
�Not if you�re Gabe.� Doug said with a laugh. I laughed as well while Father Peter just gave a small smile.
�You two should try and be nicer to Gabriel�� Father Peter said now with a frown.
�So what�s the plan tonight Father?� I said trying to change the subject.
�Well� there is the ball... the Christmas dinner with the bread dipping-" Ahhhh my mouth watered at the thought. Every Christmas Eve there is a bread dipping. We dip the bread into the baking juice of the meat we eat. I know it must sound gross but it's so good...
"- Oh and you two are helping me with the Christmas Eve mass." Whoa wait. Did Father Peter just say 'Help with the Christmas mass?' Oh crud... The last time Doug and I did that...
FLASH BACK!
A warm looking church with two boys at the front. It was a young Gabber and Doug they looked to be no older then 4 years old. Gabben and Doug were dressed in white shirts that went to the ground. In each of there hands was a small wand with a star on top. In front of them was a 5 year old Gabbie. She had on a long white robe with a red belt and a wreath on her head. On the wreath were 7 candles. Gabbie was playing the part of St. Lucia, and Gabben and Doug were playing the star boy's. Gabben turned and waved to his mum and dad. But as Gabben turned he tripped and his star boy wand poked Doug in the back. Doug turned and as he turned his star wand hit Gabben in the head making Gabben fall into Doug making Doug fall into Gabbie. Gabbie dropped the candles in her hands and head. Making her fall into the floor head first. The candles rolled away and set fire to some of the church. Before anything bad could happen Gabbens dad Gabriel pulled his wand out and put the fire out while Doug's mum and Gabbens mum Dinah ran to them to make sure they were ok.
FLASH BACK ENDS!
"Ummm Father... are you sure you want Doug and I to help?" I asked Father Peter trying to not laugh as I remembered. Doug had to put his fist into his mouth to stop from laughing out loud.
"Oh you two were just babies and I think you�re ... umm old enough to not set the church on fire this time." Father Peter had a warm smile after he said that. I just hope I don't trip this time...
Chapter 16
A few hours later�
�Have you all been good?� Gabben asked a very large group of younger kids. Gabben was now out side in front of Father Peter�s church. The made a new one after the fire. It was a little smaller but it was good enough for the town. There were about 30 or so kids there in front of Gabben. Gannon was jumping up and down as though he had just drunken gallons of rocket fuel.
�Yes! Very much so sir!� They all yelled at Gabben laughing and giggling.
�Are you sure?� Gabben said putting a hand to his right ear with a smile trying to not laugh. Gabben was so glad he wasn�t doing what Doug was about to do.
�I can�t hear you!� Gabben said laughing.
�YES! VERY MUCH SO SIR!� They all yelled. Gabben laughed. He loved kids.
�Well now� The Tomte will know if you were good. But wait� I think I hear something�� Gabben put his hand to his left ear and looked around the other side of the church. The next thing that happened was so funny. If you knew Douglas Brown. Well anyone would think it was funny. A man in a red suit with a white beard and a very large stomach with a pointed hat walked out. He had a bag full of toys over his back and a big warm smile on his face. It was Doug dressed as Tomte. Father Peter asked Gabben and Doug to play Tomte after dinner before the Christmas ball. Gabben had to stuff his fist in his mouth to stop from laughing out loud. Gabben and Doug and play rock, paper, scissors and Doug lost. So for not winning he played Tomte. To bad Gabben knew that Doug always play paper in that game.
Doug gave Gabben a fast look that said �You saying anything about this I kill you!�. Doug walked over and set his bag down.
�Well now young ones. Have you all been good?� Doug said in what he hoped would be Tomte�s voice.
�Yes!� The children yelled again.
With a warm laugh Doug pulled the bag up and let all the toys fall out. The children went in a mad dash to find there toy. Gabben and Doug stood back and smiled. The thing about these kids were that there parents had die in the last magical war, or by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Father Peter looked after them and this was some of there first real Christmas in years. All the kids took there toys and ran off but two. Gannon came over and hugged Doug/Tomte and thanked him then went over to Gabben to show him his new toy broom. Then a small girl that looked to be no older then 4 walked up to Doug/Tomte. She was holding a knew stuffed dragon in her small right had. Doug bent down and smiled at her.
�Hello Abby��
�Hello Mr. Tomte.� Abby said in her small voice. She had lost her parents just a few days after she was born. She never knew them or ever got to see a picture of them.
�Is there something wrong little miss?� Doug asked scared he picked up the wrong thing.
�Oh no Mr. Tomte. I love my new toy dragon. It�s just what I wanted. I wanted to thank you for giving it to me�� She said with a sweet smile and small bow.
�But� you didn�t see my other gift to you?� Doug said with a smile. Abby�s eyes lit up.
�You got me something else Mr. Tomte?!� She asked hugging her toy dragon. Gabben walked up behind Doug and pulled out a small paper out of his pocket.
�This�� Gabben said handing Abby a picture. There were 3 people in it. It was Abby�s mum and dad sitting next to Abby�s bed with her the day she was born. Abby smiled up at Gabben and Doug.
�Oh thank you� they look like me... I am so lucky Mr. Tomte. 2 presents in one day! Thank you!� Abby said hugging the moving picture in her small arms. She ran off with her dragon and picture.
Gabben and Doug smiled watching her go.
�That was real nice Mr. Tomte�� Gabben said still watching her.
�I�m glad we both found it. I thought that picture was lost.�
