Amos Gardner stood in front of his son Gabriel Gardner�s house. The house looked dark in the June sun. The windows were broken the front door was in the little rose bed. Amos Gardner still standing by the front gate showed no emotion just shock. �This can�t be happening�� He kept saying over and over. A few tears started to roll down his cheek. �No! Fix them sir! Please!� A small boy was crying in the house. Amos knew that voice it was his grandson Gabben Elijah Gardner. �Gabben�I�m sorry but there gone� I think you need to go out side.� A warm voice said. Amos walked into the house. His face plain but his eyes showed sadness, and pain. He walked into the front room and saw a man standing in front of a small crying boy. The man�s long silver beard and hair were shining in the lowly lit room. He was wearing deep blue robes embroidered with stars and moons he put a thin hand on the small boys shoulder. The boy looked to be no more than 3 or 4 years old. His messy lightly curled blond hair was sticking out in odd ways. He had strong deep bluish green eyes that were filled with tears. Gabben looked up and saw his grandfather and run to him. Amos picked him up and started to cry with him. He looked down at Gabben and said. �Hey, there�s my little lion. Your eagles here�.� �Gabben? GABBEN!� The 17 year old Gabben Gardner sat up coming out of his thoughts. He ran a hand threw his messy lightly curled blond hair. His strong deep bluish green eye�s starting to focus on his best friend Douglas Brown. Doug had blond hair and brown eyes and a small smirk always on his face. �We�re going to be late, now get your trunk and let�s go before we miss the train!� This was Gabben and Doug�s last year at Hogwarts. Both of them were very smart, but big pranksters, other than the Weasley twins of course. But Doug and Gabben were known more for there looks. They both had very strong athletic bodies and eye�s that could make any girl melt. While Doug liked the attention he got from the girls Gabben found it rather annoying. Every year it would get worse and worse. Doug and Gabben couldn�t go anywhere in Hogwarts with out being mobbed. �We have 45 minutes Doug there�s no need to worry.� Gabben grabbed his trunk and followed Doug to platform 9 �. The second they got on the platform 3 girls ran up to them. �Oh hello Doug...Gabben� how was your summer?� Doug gave them his flirty grin and got 2 of the girl�s full attention. But one brown haired girl still looked at Gabben dreamily. �Ummm�hey�you�� Gabben could never remember the names of any of the girls that stocked him. They all looked the same and had names like Emma, and Kate. �Ummm�I�ve got to go do some work�. see you around.� He ran off before the rest of his �Fan club� found him. �Oi! Gabben!� Two red headed boys came running over to him. It was Fred and George Weasley. �Hey mate how was your summer? �Fine, could have been better. How about you two?� �Pretty good. Well Gabben me boy it�s our last year. Got any good pranks in that blond head of yours?� Fred said hitting his head. �Not really. I wont be doing many pranks this year. You two better make me proud! Is Nick here yet?� Gabben asked running a hand threw his blond hair. �Not yet, were looking for him as well. We have a prank in the works and he�s helping. Want to come?� George asked looking around at everyone. �Looking for someone mate?� Doug said walking up with a kiss mark on his cheek. �Yah�Ditey. Know where she is?� �Never heard of her...� Gabben said watching George. �Wait�Is she that good looking Slytherin? Nicks sister?� Doug asked wondering how George could know her. �Nick�s got a sister?� Gabben said looking confused. He knew Nick but not a lot about him. �She�s an old friend. I think I see her. Talk to you mates latter.� They both walk off. �Oh there�s Eleanor Branstone. She sent me an owl over the summer. Be back in a minute mate.� With that Doug walked off. Gabben stood there going back into his thoughts. FLASHBACK �Gabben I want you to have this.� Amos Gardner handed Gabben his wand. �But grandda�I can�t this is your wa-� �No no it�s a gift. You can�t return it. It was my fathers and his before his and so on. Now it�s yours.� Amos smiled down at his 11 year old grandson. �Now you be good, it�s your first year at Hogwarts. Make me proud.� �Thanks grandda�I�ll do my best.� FLASH ENDS Gabben feels someone run into him. He turned around to see a girl on the ground. �You okay there?� He looks down giving her a hand up hoping she wasn�t hurt. �Yeah, just wasn�t paying attention to where I was walking� Gabben smiles down at her happy she wasn�t giggling at the sight of him. �Well I stepped in your path sorry about that, Names Gabben� Holds out his hand to her. She shakes it and says. �Nice to meet you Gabben, my name is Ditey � The girl next to her steps up grinning. �And I�m Vipera� Gabben smiles and shakes hands with Vipera. �You two girls are Slytherin right?� Vipera nods. But Gabben could already tell. Just the way they looked he guessed. �Yes, and wouldn�t be anything else� Gabben laughs. �Well I�m in Hufflepuff my self� He smiles at both of them about to ask them something when a high pitch squeal fills the air. �Girls I found him!� Gabben flinches then ducks down behind Ditey slightly. �Oh merlin, I�ve been spotted well I better go before I�m jumped by my fan club, I�m sure I�ll see you both around school� Gabben gives one last smile to them both waves then dashes into the train. He finds an empty seat hoping to not be found. Chapter 2 Gabben falls back into his seat looking out the window. The train started to move and Gabben heard people running out side his door. He saw parents and loved ones waving to the ones on the train. A tear started to fall down his cheek as he started to fall back into his thoughts. Just before he started to go back into his thoughts Doug walked in. �Hey mate, sorry about leaving you like that.� �It�s ok, don�t worry about it.� �I saw you talking to those two Slytherin girls. So now you got Slytherin's in your fan club mate?� They both started to laugh. �Hardly, one of them ran into me. It was a nice change to not have a girl turn all red around me.� Gabben said getting a small smirk. �Oh I see�so in other words you like her.� �Who? Ditey? Nah George likes her, and I�m more into blondes anyway.� Gabben gets an even bigger smirk. �So what happened over the summer with you? You seem different. You never got to telling me what�s wrong with you the past 5 days you�ve been at my house?� Doug said giving him a strong look. Doug knew there was something bugging Gabben but Gabben wouldn�t say a word. Doug thought it might be Gabben�s parents. They weren�t his real parents, his real ones died when Gabben was really young. Gabben�s fake parents kicked him out when Gabben was 11 cause he got a letter from Hogwarts. Sense then he had been living with his grandfather. �Well� you�re my best mate so I guess I can trust you right?� Gabben asked looking nervous. �Yah. It�ll be between you, me, and anyone else I want to tell.� Doug barked out a laugh, but Gabben knew he could trust him. �Ok... I don�t know what�s wrong? Just have a bad feeling about this year�something big is gonna happen. I can feel it.� Gabben said, his eyes turning dark. The rest of the trip they talked about Quidditch and pranks for the year. When they got to Hogwarts they couldn�t help but feel at home. In the Great Hall they saw Fred, George, Nick and Lee. They kept looking up at the ceiling and laughing to themselves, after a few minute Gabben and Doug knew why. There was a loud explosion and all the candles above them turned into fireworks. Everyone was falling to the floor screaming, covering there heads to not get hit. Gabben and Doug just sat in there seats laughing there heads off. �Those four � Ha! Brilliant! I never would have thought of that!� Gabben was about to say something when someone grabbed the back of his cloak and pulled him to the floor. �You idiot! Are you trying to get killed!� It was Krel Ansell, one of Gabben�s best and oldest mates. They dated in there first year but ended up better as friends. She became a sister to him, he was very protective of her. Her brown hair in a small pony tail, her eyes sharp with anger. Gabben still laughing sits up. �Don�t worry Krel. I may be blond but I�m not stupid.� The three of them crawled off to there common room. �That was great!� Doug said slapping his leg. Gabben and Doug were in the Hufflepuff common room sitting by the fire place. �It was pretty good. I wonder how they did it? Oh well�� �Oh George wanted to talk to you.� �About?� �I don�t know, just said he needed to talk to you.� �Hmmmm ok�I�ll go looking for him tomorrow.� But the next morning George found him. Gabben walked down to the Great Hall alone. Doug asked if Gabben wanted him to go with him, but Gabben wanted to be alone. He had wanted to be alone a lot lately. He just didn�t feel comfortable around others sense last year. The last day of school Professor Dumbledore called him into his office. FLASHBACK �Have a seat Mr. Gardner, we have a lot to discuss.� Gabben sat down a little confused. �What�s going on professor?� �Gabben what do you know about your parents? Your real parents?� �Not much sir. My grandda won�t tell me much about them.� �I think it�s time you learned. But we must start from the beginning. You know who Godric Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff are?� Gabben nodded wondering what this had to do with him. �Well Godric and Helga got married and had twins a boy and a girl. But before they were born Godric's grandfather came to Helga and told her a prophecy. He said �Threw the descendent of Gryffindor to Gardner will bring out the great lion. Threw Gryffindor to Potter will come to his aid. He watched George and Ditey play and watched George getting hit. �He wasn�t kidding�.Ow! This is better than muggle TV! Ha� George just got hit in the head and fell to the ground. He watched Ditey walk over to him with an aid pack and clean the cut on his head. She gets up and starts to walk away. �You idiot stop her!� Gabben said in a whisper but the look on Gabben's face told George better then yelling. George ran up to her and kissed her. �Not that�.you idiot she�s gonna�.� Faith turns and punches George. �She�s gonna do that�� Gabben watches her walk off and George's defeated look. Gabben gets up walks over to him. �Um... that didn�t looks like it went very well� George turns and smiles at Gabben. �On the contrary Gabben, a punch by Ditey is her way of saying she cares� Gabben give him a confused look. �Um... the last time I checked getting punched was a bad thing?� George rubs his cheek again as Gabben smirks at what happened. �Not when it�s from Ditey, it�s more of a gift� Gabben walks over and starts to make him walk towards the castle. �Odd gifts Slytherin girls give" George sighs in a love sick fashion. Gabben looks at him like he�ll be sick. �She sent me sprawling head over heels for her� Gabben looks at George with worry, then shakes his head. �Oi, never write poetry or I�ll have to hurt you� George and Gabben start to laugh as they disappear into the castle. �You must real like her if she can punch you.� Gabben says running a hand threw his messy blond hair. �It�s a gift�� �I�d hate to see what she�ll get you for your birthday.� They both laugh and walk off to there common room. �Where were you mate?� Doug says walking up to him. �Helping George with a �Girl Problem� He got punched.� Gabben try�s to not laugh again. �A girl�s beating up George?� �Ha no, He just kissed Ditey and got a gift.� Gabben can�t stop laughing at the thought. �Ha looks like he needs some help with the ladies.� �I think your right� I�ll talk to him tomorrow. Till then I will be in my room relaxing with my thoughts�.� The next morning Gabben woke up on the cold floor, He got up and showered and ran down to breakfast. On his way there he saw Krel reading by the Great Hall doors. �Hey Krel. What are you reading?� He picks up the book and see�s it�s a dairy. �That�s mine Gabben Gardner! Give it back.� She jumps up and grabs it afraid he�d run off with it. �Sorry, I didn�t know you had a dairy?� �I have for the past 7 years.� �Oh, never knew that. Want to come get something to eat with me?� �Sure.� She slaps the book shut and walks in with him. They sat down and started to eat muffins and bacon when Fred came up. �George came in with cheek all red? Know anything Gabben?� He sits next to him. �Yah, he tried to kiss Ditey.� �Oh�.so she likes him.� �Guess so�. I never knew that hitting someone meant you liked them? Oh well.� �With her it means she dose.� �Well good for him�.but I don�t think he knows much about�well females. Doug and I are going to help him. �Ha I�d love to see that!� Fred said laughing to the floor. "Sorry all but I must be off." Gabben gets up and walks out of the Great Hall to go out side. He was getting that feeling again. He missed his friends but didn't feel comfortable near them. He felt different...not like them...or anyone. He sat down and rested his head on a tree. He pulled out a small picture the his grandda gave him. It was a picture of Gabben at 4 with his real parents. "I wish I knew the whole story..." Chapter 4 Gabben sat there for hours looking at the lake but not really looking at it at all. Just as he was going to get up someone ran right into him. "oug! ge orf me!" "Ha sorry mate but you've been sitting here all day. Wanted to make sure you weren't dead. Padfoot would kill me if you came up dead." "Thanks. Well I'm still living. Can you get off my foot now?" "Oh sorry. I'm here to give you this." Doug held out a letter to Gabben. "I think it's from Kate. They all look the same mate sorry." Gabben took the letter. Held it 3 feet away from his face. It smelled badly of flowers. Gabben stood up and threw it in the water. The lake monster came up and pulled the letter down. "Maybe he'll like it better." Gabben sat back down looking at his feet. "There has to be one girl in Hogwarts you like Gabben?" Gabben thought about this from a minute. "None come to mind...." But that was a lie. There was one girl he liked. But they had been friends for ever. It wouldn't seem right if he asked her. "Well your lying but I don't have time to fight mate. It's almost time for dinner. You coming?" Gabben took one more long look out at the lake then got up. "Yah I guess so." They walked up into the Great Hall and found some seats. Gabben and Doug start to eat as much food as they can fit into there mouths. "You know you can die by eating that fast." A girl with brown hair walked in and sat next to Gabben. "Oi Ash!" Doug and Gabben say with full mouths. Gabben slows down a little to talk to her. "How was your day? Oh pass the milk please?" She passes it to him putting her bag down. "Ok, Krel lost 5 points for her house at potions.... That Jes girl keeps pushing her buttons. Doug your getting food all...ahh never mind." "She's a Slytherin right? They've been fighten like that for awhile. Wish they'd stop." Gabben says hitting Doug in the ribs. "That's mine! Get your own glass of milk mate." "Ahhh you 2..." Sadly this was how there meals were everyday. And Gabben wouldn't change it for anything. "Gabben what's that? It's the only food you have eaten?" Gabben looks at the muffin. "It's for Padfoot. She hasn't been in to eat dinner yet. It's the last one of the kind she likes." "That's nice of you. Thanks." Krel say's right behind him taking the muffin. She goes to sit next to Ash as Gabben and Doug go back in to eating mood. After dinner they all went up to the library. "So he falls into the mud again looking for the "cookie" that isn't there." Doug was talking about he's brother to Ash and Krel and Gabben. As they were heading to the door there was a loud sound from down the hall. Spells were going everywhere. One almost hit Ash in the back of her head. The 4 run off and see what the sound is about. Just as they turn the corner at bright light hit's Ash,and Krel. Gabben and Doug run head first at the one that sent the spell. Another spell hit's Gabben hard in the chest. A deep feeling of a knife goes threw his chest. Chapter 5! Gabben falls back from the pain. Pulls himself up and runs after the Blue and red lights. The lights flew past Doug and Gabben as they turned the corner they see� nothing. Nothing?! Who was sending those spells?! Gabben being faster stopped looking around confused. Just as he started to rub his head Doug slammed head first into Gabben making them fall threw the library door. �Doug you prat get off me! You could have killed me!� Gabben said trying to push Doug off him. �Yah but I didn�t, that�s the point.� He smiled proudly at him. Gabben kicked him off and stood up. �I wonder what that was?...� �Or who mate� those were spells.� Doug said standing up. �I know that!� Gabben looked back out into the hall. �Hmmmm�� He shut the Library door and shrugged. �This is a library! What do you think your doing running in here like that?� A black haired girl with silver eyes walked up to them. �We weren�t running. We fell in Alyssa.� Said Doug with a smirk. �And I got pushed! So we weren�t running at all.� Gabben gave her and evil smirk that matched Doug�s. To there enjoyment she turned a little red with anger at them. Alyssa was Gabben�s oldest mate and best mate next to Doug. Gabben met her in there first year. Gabben almost fell out of the boat into the lake on there first night. But Alyssa grabbed the back of his robes and pulled him back in. Ever sense them she was his best mate. Alyssa, Doug, and he were the biggest prankster at Hogwarts. There were called the Jr. Marauder�s. Now older she was the only one that could really make Gabben stop pulling a prank on someone. She was like his sister that would give him a good smack when ever he got in trouble. �Whatever you two dolts were doing why did you fall into the library?� She said pulling them over to a table to talk. �We saw some spells flying down the hall and-� Doug was saying when Alyssa cut him off. �Oh the Hogwarts hero�s�� �What�s that supposed to mean?� Gabben said with a growl. All she did was smirk at him. �Why nothing Prongs� by the way Gabben I need to have a talk with you about your cousin�� �Gabe? What bout him?� Gabben asked now looking confused. �Well he was hanging around some other kids� they were trying to poison some first years. You might want to tell him off.� Gabben frowned and ran a hand threw his already untidy hair. He turned to Doug and said. �What shall we do to the young one Mr. Padfoot Jr?� Doug smiled as though Christmas had come early. �Color his hair again when he�s not looking or make his books eat his homework again?� Gabben said with a smirk. Doug�s smile just got bigger at the thought. �How about make those hearts come out of his ear. Remember when we did that to Krel in 3rd year?� Gabben and Doug fall over laughing at the thought. �Why must you two always torment him? You know that you two pulling pranks on him like that all the time make him do mean things to others. You to our making him act out like this.� Gabben and Doug both look at her confused. �Oh forget it�� Pair of deep green eyes look over a book. It was a boy about 14. He looked like a younger Gabben only he had bigger teeth and nose. He had a dark look about him as though he hated everything and everyone. Gabe Gardner looked as though he was going to be sick when he saw his cousin. �Oh C�mon Alyssa Gabe�s a big stupid git, you know that. And have you ever tried to stop us pulling pranks on him in the past? No! Ha-ha you�ve helped us with the pranks as I remember. Gabben said crossing his arms with a smirk. Alyssa just turned red with anger, then sighed and gave up. �I�m going with the hearts and his hair.� �Great now when should we get him? Tomorrow morning?� Gabe still looked at Gabben with his dark eyes. He growled a little as he looked at Alyssa and Doug. He then looked back at Gabben and said with a growl. �Stupid pretty boy� you just wait Gabben� I know your past!... I know what you must do and I�m going to stop you� The Dark Lord will win� and you�Ha� you will be all alone with no one there for you� all alone again� just like me�� Gabe smirked at the thought as he went back to reading his book. He had not heard what the Jr. Marauders we�re going to do to him that next morning. Chapter 6 A little boy rolled over in his sleep. The boy looked to be no older the 2or 3. The boy had thick untidy blond hair that curled out in odd ways a little. This was a very young Gabben Gardner. He rolled over in his sleep and started to suck his thumb. A tall man walked into the room. The man had Gabben's untidy hair and warm smile. The man was Gabriel Gardner, Gabben's father. Gabriel sat down next to Gabben's small bed, and smiled at him as he tucked some of his hair behind his ear. Gabriel just sat there watching his son threw his deep brown eyes. �Why can�t they just leave us alone eh Gabben?... Why do we always have to save everyone� ha� but I guess in a way I wouldn�t have it any other way� someone has to do it� You know what Gabben� you are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen� I love you so much� please try to always remember that� I always will love you. Even when I�m not there by your side... I will still be with you� I�ll just be a little harder to see at first� but trust me� I�ll never ever leave you� �Gabriel looks down trying to not cry. �I�m sorry� I�m so sorry that you were born as the great lion� You�ll do a great job I know you will� But I� I just don�t want to lose you� I don�t want to lose my baby boy�� Gabriel started to cry as he watched Gabben sleep. FLASH ENDS �Gabben?... Gabben are you ok?� Krel said sitting next to him. He was now sitting by the lake. He couldn�t remember how he got there. All he knew was that, that morning he wanted to go for a walk to think about his dream. The dream was about his father crying over his bed. Gabben would always find his way here to the lake when he was upset, mad or scared. �I�m fine Krel� I just needed to be alone I guess�� He told her looking down at his feet. �Do you want to talk about it? I know that there�s something bothering you� Doug told me you were having nightmares?... What�s wrong Gabben�?� But the moment she said these words she new what he would say. �I�m fine� don�t worry about me�� He put on a fake smile and pulled his knees up to his chest as he looked out over the lake. She sighed and just sat there with him rubbing his shoulder. IN THE GREAT HALL! �1� 2� 3!� Doug whispered to himself. Right when he said �3� people started laughing. There was an angry yell and more laughter. �GABBEN GARDNER I�M GONNA KILL YOU!� Then there was the sound of 20 or so people running out of the great hall red hearts following them out. Krel had long gone giving up on Gabben talking to her about what was wrong with him. Gabben just sat there as a few tears rolled down his face. �I wish it wasn�t so hard to see you dad�� Why couldn�t he just have one night without dreaming about his parent�s? Why did he keep dreaming about his past? It was his past, gone forever never to come back. �Just like them�� He mumbled to himself. There was a loud SLAM as two people ran down the steps to him. They came running over to him laughing there heads off. �Haha Gabben you missed it! We got Gabe and all his mates! It took them 10 minutes to relies why everyone was laughing. It was great!� It was Alyssa and Doug. Doug was rolling around on the ground laughing, but Alyssa was looking at Gabben worried. She sat next to him and put a hand on his shoulder where Krel�s had been. But before she could ask what was wrong with him there was another SLAM. �Gabben Gardner! The headmaster would like to see you right now! Come with me!� It was Professor Stephens who was yelling at Gabben. Professor Stephens seemed to always yell at Gabben no matter what was being said. He slowly got up not looking at Doug or Alyssa. He thought he was going to get a telling off for the prank he made on Gabe and his mates. But the headmaster had other more important things to tell Gabben� Chapter 7! �Up there Mr. Gardner!� Professor Stephens said with a smirk at Gabben. Gabben just sighed and walked up the stairs to the Headmasters office. �Come in Mr. Gardner�� The Headmaster said just as Gabben put his hand on the door. �How dose he always know?� Gabben said as he walked in. �I may be old Mr. Gardner but my ears are just as good as ever, now please take a seat. We have much to talk about�� Gabben sighed and sat down. �I�ll be back here on Friday for detention�� The headmaster smiled and said. �From what I have heard Mr. Gardner your not doing very we-� But before he could finish two people walked in. It was Professor Stephens and Gabe. Gabe red with anger was standing there hair still hot pink and big red hearts coming out of his ears, where as Professor Stephens just stood there with his hand on Gabe's shoulder. Gabben didn�t have to turn around to know who it was. He just sat there arms crossed and smiled. The Professor looked upset but it was only to try and hide a smile. Gabben was the best student in his year. The Headmaster just wished he�d put some of that cleverness to good. �Headmaster, Mr. Gabriel Gardner 10th came to me with a problem and told me that Mr. Gabben Gardner did this to him and his friends.� Professor Stephens said with a small smile. Professor Stephens seemed to hate Gabben from the minute he walked into Hogwarts. There relationship was a lot like Harry Potters and Professor Snape's. �Gabben you will have 3 weeks detention starting Friday with Professor Stephens� Gabriel you may go to the Hospital Wing. � The headmaster sat down with a long sigh. He could not talk to Gabben now with Gabriel and Professor Stephens in the room. Gabben looked up and uncrossed his arms. What did the Headmaster want to talk to him about? He pushed them out the door and ran around the church looking for others who might be stuck in the church. He couldn�t find anyone else. He started to cough as he yelled out in Swedish. �Hall�! Finns uppl�ter det?� Hello! Is someone there? No one answered. �Pappa Peter!?� Father Peter!? Again no answer. As he ran into a room he saw a hole in a picture. Threw this hole was a small room. He couldn�t help himself as he looked in side the small hidden room. There was nothing in there but an old wooden box. Smoke and fire was all around him but he could careless. Something about that box told him that it was his. He grabbed it and ran around the church. The fire was getting to big and he needed to get out. Just as he saw the door out a burning book case fell on him. �Gabben!� Gannon was yelling. Gabben had never heard anyone scream like that. It was as if he was being put threw the pain of death over and over again. �Gannon?!...� Gabben pushed the book case off him, grabbed the box and ran outside. There he saw 2 men running after Gannon up the grassy hill throwing curses at him. �GANNON!!!� Gabben yelled as he dropped the box and run at the men. He could not remember the fight no matter how many times he ran it over in his head. All he could remember was that the two men wore black cloaks, changing into his lion form, and that the two men yelled in fright and ran off. The next thing he knew was changing back and walking over to Gannon. �Where� where is everyone Gannon?� Gabben asked out of breath, he could now feel the pain from the cuts and burns he had gotten. Gannon just sat there crying. Gannon was only 6 years old and Gabben couldn�t help but feel sorry for him. He pulled him in a hug and just let Gannon cry. �Shhh� it�s ok� I�m here and not going anywhere�� FLASH ENDS! Gabben found out latter that the two men were death eaters sent to find him. But when they saw two Gardner�s in the church they decided to burn it down. The Dark Lord knew of the power that had been passed down to Gabben and Gannon. Most wizards did not know of the powers Godric Gryffindor had, Gabben and Gannon being some of the last of Godric�s heir�s they had gotten his power. Gabben found out that many had died that day, and no matter what everyone said he felt as though it was his fault. �The Gardner�s have always saved the ones in need.
