Preface
"Why do you learn HTML?" someone ask me.
"Why don't you use FrontPage?" ask again.
"Coz I want to be more professional!" This is the reason people learn the basic
languages ( PASCAL , C++ , JAVA , Flash ...) of compu., coz they want to make useful thing
by theirselves , but not get help from some software that created by others.
After you have learnt these useful things , you'll find that it's easily controling the
computers , and also these are useful things that'll help you to earn $ !!!
Something that FrontPage or HotDog can't help you , you can do it yourselves!
Of cause you can use them to build some basic pages , they are also helpful!
But if you want to make some wonderful things ( eg. animations , moving objects ...) ,
HTML is useful!
Trying use Hot Dog (DOWNLOAD) or FrontPage , the beginning of touching HTML.
Also , you need a web space for you to publish your homepage .
About
HTML < HyperText Markup Language > is the basic language of making web pages.
You can't publish your pages on the web with xxx.txt or xxx.doc , coz the web browsers
( IE , Navigator ... ) can read the xxx.htm or xxx.html ... only.
Web browsers are used to convert the codes into beautiful pages contain words , pictures & sounds!!!
Just like PASCAL , HTML uses codes , but it's more easier than C++ or PASCAL.
You only need to remember some basic codes , so , don't give up !
Let your pages be the wonderful ones !
